    AMESA COE DX Category Management Lead

    Job Description

    • Act as conduit of DX (Demand Accelerator) connecting shopper insights to retailers/customer planning
    • Define and align category growth best in class processes and create an AMESA roadmap for category management needs and data, Business Unit (BU) resource and tech by market to enable category management agenda
    • Work/capability doesn’t exist today in majority of AMESA BUs so need to be able do the functional work themselves and demonstrate to markets and customers the business benefits of category management approach
    • Only Saudi & South Africa (SA) have dedicated cat man resource, roles <1yr and need to upskill to PepsiCo best practise approaches and key deliverables of range, space, in-store execution and Organized Trade (OT) strategic customer relationship progression
    • Data sets vary by category and market, need to adapt approach to accommodate, tailor processes and drive work to close data gaps
    • 70:20:10 functional category management capability build.
    • Demonstrate and build BU capability by partnering to tailor global category management processes in markets via Sector/BU pilots.
    • Playbook creation on “how to” identify category growth opportunities and insights, and devise category visions aligned to key customer strategies
    • Functional cat man training and 1-2-1 coaching with BU partner cat man resource, to drive self-sufficiency and embed change management and cat man execution within BU Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and processes
    • Create democratized digital solutions to enhance the conveyance of commercial solutions in a compelling way to engage customers/stakeholders, drive E2E insights to action
    • How to create and tailor the sales hook/benefit, commercialize the solutions in 4Ps and “what’s in it for you” selling stories for growth opportunities and to drive change management with diverse stakeholders (internal and external)

    • Excellent Numeracy, analytical and commercial framing ability of solutions (recommendations founded within 4P sales levers (product, placement, price & promo)
    • Communication: Strong written & oral communication skills; English and preferably one other AMESA language

    Maintenance and Reliability Manager

    Job Description

    Accountabilities

    • Ensure that short term and long term maintenance plans are developed and executed on the plant in a manner that will benchmark to PepsiCo best practice.

    • Ensure maximum plant availability and reliability by leading and directing the maintenance team, ensuring at all times adherence to Safety legislation, relevant SANS codes and PepsiCo standards.

    • Drive effective execution of routine, preventative and reliability maintenance schedules.

    • Development of daily, weekly, monthly and 12 months maintenance plans and execution for Isando site while driving synergies with the other PepsiCo plants.

    • Provide support on project scoping, execution and commissioning by ensuring key maintenance resources are part of each stage of the project.

    • Management and development of the maintenance team and leverage skills in other SA sites to drive capability building.

    • Effectively drive synergies with the Reliability and Utilities functions to optimise plant performance.

    • Drive PEMM maturity and ensure adherence to maintenance standards with special focus on asset utilisation, planning preparation and maintenance execution.

    • Undertake detailed analysis of the plant/assets to develop strategies and recommendations that will improve the reliability and performance of the plant, systems and maintenance effectiveness.

    • Loss elimination - track the production losses and abnormally high maintenance cost assets, and then find ways to reduce those losses or high costs.

    • Collaborate with Assets team members to develop, maintain and compile asset reliability, criticality and condition information necessary for the asset planning, delivery and maintenance strategies.

    • Routinely produce root-cause analysis reports, respond to requests regarding reliability for the site.

    • Professionally and systematically defines designs, develops, monitors and refines the Asset Maintenance Plan that includes: Value-added preventive maintenance tasks; Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems.

    • Provides input into the Risk Management Plan that will anticipate reliability-related, and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation.

    • In full partnership with the operations team develops a plan to eliminate or reduce the losses through root cause analysis, obtains approval of the plan and facilitates the implementation.

    • Manage the risk to the achievement of the organization’s strategic objectives in the areas of environmental, health and safety, asset capability, quality and production.

    • Effectively use the following tools to identify and reduce risk: PHA - Preliminary hazards analysis; FMEA - Failure modes and effects analysis; CA - Criticality analysis; FTA - Fault tree analysis; ETA - Event tree analysis etc.

    • Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.

    • Works with Project Engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations and ensure adherence to the Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) process throughout the entire life cycle of new assets.

    • Participates in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans.

     

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Key skills / Experience required

    • Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical or Electrical).

    • 5+ years’ experience in maintenance management role

    • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems

    • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics

    • Advanced computer skills, with emphasis on condition monitoring software/techniques

    • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and the tools associated with failure detection (i.e. vibration analysis, oil monitoring, thermography) as well as the software associated with them.

    • Minimum 7 years maintenance and reliability, production management, engineering or operations experience.

    • Extensive and relevant reliability management experience.

    • Continuous improvement tools.

    • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) – ideally SAP

    • Ability to interact effectively with blue collar workers as well as plant management

    • Knowledge of Employee and Industrial Relations processes

    • Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with internal departments (production, quality, logistics/RMS, accounting), contractors, suppliers inspectors and customers.

    • Ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures.

    Supply Chain Senior Planner

    Role:


    The purpose of this role is to manage the end-to-end cycle including the demand, production and deployment planning cycles from multiple supply sources (Contract manufacturers and Cupar) for the total volume to various Distributors while ensuring the products availability on time in full. Moreover, to own the COGS budget from planning, ordering, monitoring, and reporting perspectives.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Main interface between the business and the co-manufacturers & Cupar with respect to production planning and execution

    • Manages, tracks, controls and report the total manufacturing cost / budget (COGS and storage cost) on regular basis ensuring to meet the plan

    • Owns the manufacturing orders placement considering the different product delivery lead times.

    • Leads the monthly QSR meeting to ensure volumes submitted for the following month matches financial forecast

    • Leads the S&OP monthly connect with PNT GM, commercial team, and the finance team

    • Influences the forecasting cycle and orders arrangement with the 14 different distributors

    • Develops, aligns and tracks the production plans / execution with all the supply sources and all the other stakeholders

    • Governs the indirect material forecasting and supply for the co-mans suppliers

    • Owns the deployment planning cycle to ensure on time in full order delivery targeting a world class CFR

    • Leads the SC side of the innovation agenda

    • Sets, agrees and aligns on the operational SLA with the new contracts

    • Set and execute the importation of new innovations from different supply sources

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • University graduate in Supply Chain or Engineering

    • Experience in a fast-paced supply chain environment, with 3-5 years of experience in planning and S&OP cycle management

    • High analytical and problem solving skills

    • Experience of working with SAP system is critical

    • Excellent communication skills and being fluent in English is a must

    • Be capable of working effectively in a cross functional environment, and with multiple organizations and nationalities

    • Ability to manage multiple, and complex tasks
