    This exciting opportunity to join the Southern African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA) as a graduate intern will be in the field of Marketing, Branding and Communication. The Marketing, Branding & Communication intern will report to the Marketing, Branding & Communication Specialist.

     

    C: KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Administration and coordination of the Marketing, Branding & Communication function.

    Education And Training Manager

    A: JOB INFORMATION SUMMARY

    B: JOB PURPOSE:

    This is an exciting opportunity to join the Southern African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA), a professional body that has a focus in the public sector auditing and accounting profession. The Education, Training and Development (ETD) Manager will be responsible for managing the development, implementation and delivery of education, training and development strategy and plan for the Southern African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA).

     

    C: KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Develop and roll-out the Education, Training and Development Strategy and Plan for SAIGA.
    • Manage the External Integrated Summative Assessments (EISA) and Board Examinations for the RGA professional designation.
    • Manage the development, delivery, and maintenance of SAIGA’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes.
    • Manage SAIGA’s accreditation process for workplace providers and institutions of higher learning and training.
    • Facilitate mentorship and assessor programmes for SAIGA’s accredited workplace providers.  
    • Provide secretariat support to the Education & Training Committee and the Examination Board.
    • Conduct and co-ordinate research into best practices related to education, training, and development strategies.
    • Oversee SAIGA’s compliance with relevant statutory and non-statutory institutions in the education, training, and development sphere.
    • Manage ad hoc projects related to Education, Training and Development.

     

    D: APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

    The following requirements are applicable

    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in education, training, development.
    • Five years management experience.
    • Knowledge and experience of working SAQA, QCTO, Institutions of higher learning and training and SETAs.
    • Detailed understanding of professional body environment.
    • Experience of working with committees.
    • Project management and research experience. 
    • Experience of working on various E-Learning platforms.
    • Matric/ grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Diploma, degree or equivalent education, training, development, and human resource related qualification.
    • Facilitator, assessor and moderator certificates are non-negotiable.
    • Leadership skills and experience in people management.

    B: JOB PURPOSE:

    This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly established Training academy of the Southern African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA) as an administrator. The training academy, which is a subsidiary of SAIGA will be launched in September 2020 as an academy with a focus in the public sector auditing and accounting related training. The administrator will be responsible for managing the academy's telephone switchboard system and also performing ad hoc administration tasks of the academy.

     

    C: KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Answering of incoming calls
    • Perform the academy’s general administrative and clerical support to staff
    • Filing of correspondence
    • Update and maintain the filing system
    • Retrieval of documents as requested
    • Ad hoc receptionist duties

     

    D: APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

    The following requirements are applicable

    •   Matric/ grade 12 or equivalent
    • Relevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
    • Computer literacy
