    Coordinator Enterprise & Supplier Development

    Purpose of the Job    

    • The purpose of the Enterprise & Supplier Development Coordinator role is to facilitate the delivery of the Small Suppliers development agenda and commercial objectives through the efficient and effective execution of all operational and administrative functions related to the Small Supplier onboarding process inclusive of the end -to-end process of responding to potential Small Suppliers who register their interest via the Shoprite holdings website, ensuring that suppliers provide the necessary detail for their application to be considered for the next round within the Shoprite Supplier Enterprise Programme. The role works collaboratively with the Small Enterprise Development team to ensure commercial targets are met and requires a highly organised and detail orientated individual with good energy and drive to deliver on expectations and get things done.?Provide support on specific projects, workstreams, objectives: 
    • Coordinating activities: identifying correct stakeholders, scheduling meetings, booking venues etc. 
    • Administrative tasks: preparing agenda, info packs, minutes etc. 
    • Preparing communications or briefs, pulling together info to consolidate for input to presentations, reports etc., following up on outstanding inputs / info. 
    • Conducting research, background info etc.

    Job Objectives    

    • Daily engagement with potential suppliers relating to the portal enquiries and derive at the necessary paperwork for potential suppliers including but not limited to: Business proposal, product and pricing information and Vendor application paperwork.  
    • Maintain/update successful and unsuccessful application status.  
    • Quality checks all information inputted and captured.  
    • Facilitate and support potential as well as existing Vendors with responses to raised queries 
    • Maintain up-to-date and accurate capturing of Supplier information including new article forms, and update documents per supplier.  
    • Keep record of the number of Small Suppliers processed from within the Small Suppliers Team  
    • Manage the complete documentation to support the listing process  
    • Manage the 3-, 6- and 12-month supplier review schedule in line with Trade Agreements and Supplier Performance Reviews  
    • Provide functional support for buyer related activities  
    • Ensure correct cost is loaded where applicable to support promotional efforts for Suppliers.  
    • Quality check cost and sales price loading after Small Suppliers Buyer has determined clusters (group per brand and store size / layout module), immediately correcting any errors identified.  
    • Capture and load retail prices ensuring a high degree of accuracy and meticulousness.  
    • Timeously resolve supplier queries received via Shoprite portal  
    • Maintain accurate, timeous loading of newly listed products on SAP Buying as approved by the Small Supplier Buyer.  
    • Inform the DC (Distribution Centre) Planner of new products and provide them with ties and highs as provided by supplier listing form / master data.  
    • Set flags on system to range/list products at store level.   
    • Timeously capture deranging and mark downs.  
    • De/link articles after items have been discontinued from supplier/no longer viable.  
    • Generate comprehensive reports for appropriate actioning and reviews by the Supplier Development team.  

    Qualifications    

    • Grade 12 certificate – (essential)
    • Degree or Diploma in Business, Retail, Finance, or a related field – (desired).

    Experience    

    • +2 years’ experience in a similar capacity or role, providing general executive / team support, executing administrative functions and support related to Supplier, buying or enterprise development processes or similar – (essential).

    Knowledge and Skills    

    • Proficiency with MS Office 365 with well-developed Excel skills to prepare detailed spreadsheets   using formulas – (essential).
    • Exposure to SAP Buying / Retail – (desired).

    Security Engineer Lead

    Purpose of the Job    

    • The purpose of the Security Engagement Lead is to lead a team of cloud security engineers responsible for securing cloud-based digital platforms and plays an integral role in engaging with business units in order to ensure the organization's digital platforms are protected. This role involves analyzing existing cloud security measures/controls and creating new and enhanced security methods. This role is part of a larger team dedicated to cloud-based management and security. The role is also responsible for the development and execution of large-scale cyber security initiatives and requires a professional with problem-solving abilities who can work in a fast-paced environment and has a clear passion for cloud security and cloud technologies.

    • Lead and mentor a team of cloud security engineers.  
    • Provide assurance through collaboration with other stakeholders that all cloud and digital platforms meet the organization's security requirements.  
    • Provide security recommendations on cloud-based data security, platforms and application development.  
    • Recommend innovative technologies or other methods that will enhance the security of cloud-based environments.  
    • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on cloud security.  
    • Develop standards, policies and procedures as well as best practices documentation.  
    • Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers.  
    • Influence multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating cyber security controls.  
    • Work closely with application developers to deliver creative solutions to complex technology challenges and business requirements.   
    • Automate security controls, data and processes to provide better metrics and operational support.  
    • Utilize cloud-based APIs when appropriate to write network/system level tools for securing cloud environments.  
    • Stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls.  
    • Identify and implement new security technologies and best practices.  
    • Create technical and managerial level reports and conduct risk assessments for Cloud-based applications and infrastructure.  
    • Identify processes/procedures for how to handle cloud security events, including forensic isolation and mitigation with Digital Forensics and Incident Response teams.  
    • Identify new security threats by conducting continual monitoring, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and log analysis. 

    Qualifications    

    • Degree/Diploma in IT, Information Systems, Systems Support or related field - (essential)
    • Recognized industry certifications in cloud security, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) - (essential)

    Experience    

    • +2 years’ experience in a team leadership capacity or similar with demonstrable experience leading and/or efficiently managing the delivery of security engineering engagements with key business and IT stakeholders to ensure highly secure enterprise-wide IT infrastructure - (essential)
    • +5 years' experience in a cyber security role with hands-on expertise in cloud security - (essential)
    • Solid experience with specific exposure to mentoring and coaching a team, providing technical leadership and driving high performance within the context of security engineering - (essential)
    • Experience with open-source software security - (essential)

    Knowledge and Skills    

    • Technical knowledge of system security compliance and practice in IT systems operations with relevant regulations (PCI DSS, ISO standards, POPIA, etc.) or working within those frameworks - (essential). 
    • Expert knowledge of services related to cloud computing, network, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, automation technologies - (essential).   
    • Good understanding and exposure to cloud standards, architecture and models - (essential). 
    • Practical experience with AWS WAF and/or Azure Frontdoor - (essential). 
    • Solid knowledge of internet & network protocols with PKI, SSL, SSH etc. and deep packet inspection - (essential). 
    • Hands on knowledge of automation and DevSecOps, microservices, Kubernetes, docker, etc. - (highly beneficial) 
    • Good understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and deployment orchestration - (highly beneficial). 
    • Robust microservices programming (AWS Lambda, Docker, etc.) - (highly beneficial)
