    Marketing Programs Mgr

    Job description

    Responsibilities

    This role is for an experienced, data-driven marketing manager with a solid background in customer acquisition and retention. This Marketing Program Manager role will be responsible for developing and executing global customer acquisition and retention programs for the SMB direct channel team within the

    Website Security business unit. This role will be required to work cross functionally with Product

    Management, Product Marketing and Sales organizations to ensure alignment on plans and smooth execution of the multi-channel marketing programs, including direct mail, email, webinar, newsletter, social, content syndication, sponsorship, partnership and other integrated marketing tactics.

    Primary Objectives And Responsibilities

    • Develop a holistic demand generation and customer retention marketing strategy and build the internal resources and processes required for success.
    • Budget, plan, execute and optimize ongoing campaigns.
    • Analyze and report on campaign and website performance metrics.
    • Serve as a cross-functional liaison, collaborating across the organization on all Website Security demand generation and customer retention/loyalty activities, from ideation to concept to implementation to tracking and performance report outs.
    • Manage projects and vendors to deliver efficient and effective creative.
    • Gather insights on the shop/buy/use experience to optimize product positioning and marketing activities based on deep customer empathy
    • Leverage data and marketing automation systems to continually optimize processes for qualifying leads, increasing wallet share and driving customer renewals/retention.
    • Work cross-functionally with product management, product marketing, sales and customer care to deliver an awesome end-to-end user experience.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • The ideal candidate will possess a strong integrated marketing background with a proven track record of delivering business results, particularly in lead generation and customer retention.B.A.,
    • B.S., M.B.A. preferred.
    • Min of 7 years of lead generation and customer retention marketing experience.
    • Expertise in SMB segments.
    • Adept at developing marketing strategy, segmentation, & messaging (including strategic program brief development).
    • Operates with a learning mind-set/curiosity.
    • Self-motivated with strong analytical skills and an ability to contribute at both strategic and operational levels.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence at all levels of the organization in a highly matrixed organization.
    • A solid understanding and successful use of traditional and emerging marketing channels
    • (Content Syndication, Content Media Marketing, Direct Mail, eMail, Web, Webinar & Social) to drive and nurture leads.
    • Experience with global marketing, localization & regional programs.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others, take ownership for results and make
    • sound, timely decisions based on data and insights.
    • Hypothesis driven approach to solving problems, with experience developing and iterating innovative marketing ideas for lean testing and rapid experimentation.
    • Customer-focused mindset, with a demonstrated track record of discovering key insights and delighting users.
    • Experience with Eloqua and basic HTML knowledge a plus.

    3pm – 12am; 4pm – 1am; 5pm – 2am; 6pm – 3am

    As an accomplished enterprise sales professional, you must be able to effectively engage with and persuade the senior executives of large online eCommerce websites to fully leverage the benefits of the adopt Norton Shopping Guarantee for their business.

    Skills

    As the ideal candidate, you must have a proven record of success, strong problem solving abilities, excellent communications skills, along with the following abilities, attributes, experience and skills

    • Smart, persuasive and clever.
    • Aggressive and driven sales professional that can sell effectively over the phone.
    • 4+ years of direct sales experience, ideally with enterprise level sales.
    • 2+ years of demonstrated success in a direct sales role selling in an eCommerce or technology environment; some understanding of eCommerce and online trends.
    • Comfort and demonstrated effectiveness with telephone based sales and effectively manage prospects through a phone based sale and sales process.
    • Clear understanding of, and ability to, leverage business case/ROI benefits.
