    Degree Graduate Internship (Pick n Pay)

    Job Description

    Position: Degree Graduate Internship – Retail Sector (12 months).

    • Permanent employment after completing the internship.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that security procedures are adhered to
    • Ensure that merchandise/display standards are adhered to
    • Conduct regular quality checks and ensure that stock is rotated. Damaged/expired stock is removed
    • Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages
    • Check correct pricing e.g. labels
    • Ensure that all administration is completed accurately and timeously
    • Analyse, maintain, and update relevant information/documentation, take required action when necessary
    • Plan and implement sales promotions
    • Approach and advise customers on the product, listen to customers’ requests, and provide the required product or services.
    • Monitor budgets and take required action
    • Analyse the profitability of the department, make recommendations or take required actions
    • Optimize stock levels e.g. always in stock, never overstocked through effective ordering
    • Manage employees to ensure standards are maintained by competent, motivated employees

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Degrees considered, include a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Logistics, and Supply Chain.

    Competencies:

    • Monitor and develop other’s performance. Acknowledges good performance, confronts and corrects poor performance
    • Solves new/unfamiliar problems by generating workable solutions
    • Ability to identify/prioritize urgent matters and attend to them immediately
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Basic Knowledge of financial concepts
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

    Requirements:

    • Must be a South African citizen or have a valid work permit.
    • Recently certified ID and qualifications.
    • Must be able to commit to 12 months.
    • MS Office proficiency.

    Nice to have:

    • Driver’s License

    Job Type & Contract Length:

    • Successful graduates will be expected to enter a 12-month contract. Contract to be renewed upon successful completion of the 1 Year – Subject to employers’ discretion.

    Remuneration:

    • 5250.00 stipend per month

    Depot Manager in Germiston (The WOA Company)

    Depot manager portfolio:

    • Effectively and efficiently manage the Depot to ensure the desired level of support and delivery of fuel to
    • customers against SLA objectives and targets.
    • Ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
    • Full management of all staff, customers, and suppliers including requested reports to management
    • Manage offloading of diesel at selected customers and the Germiston depot.
    • Manage and control all stock and inventory, including office purchases.
    • Ensure all data capturing is done accurately on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
    • Responding to all internal and external communications on all company platforms.
    • Provide clear and accurate reports to management.
    • Ensure that the opening and closing of shifts are done as per WOA standard operating procedures.
    • Ensure that you are available on a 24-hour standby basis.
    • Sales portfolio:
    • Build a commercial customer base for all petroleum and lubricant products.
    • Will be responsible for new business whilst servicing the existing client base.
    • Candidate must be target-driven, with the ability to work unsupervised.
    • Candidates will be visiting Petroleum Installations and have a sound knowledge of all SHERQ SOPs.
    • Attending tender briefing when requested.
    • Manage key account customers and provide client services.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric
    • Must have 6-10 years of Fueling Depot management experience.
    • Strong Marketing Research and Sales Expertise Required.
    • Experience in the Petroleum Industry is essential.
    • BCom Marketing or a similar qualification will be advantageous.
    • Candidate must display strong skills in MS Office packages.
    • Candidate must possess strong communication skills.
    • Valid driver’s license with no endorsements
    • Clear criminal checks.

    Junior Operations Assistant (The WOA Company)

    Job Function

    • Role Based in Umhlanga Durban
    •  
    • Receiving & Confirming fuel orders.
    • Consult with the transports for documentation and processing of the same.
    • Process documentation in the Operations department and for contractors- Ordering lifting slips
    • Cash, Terms & COC.
    • Controlling and planning the delivery/load schedule.
    • Data capture for all processing in the operations department
    • Controlling and monitoring deliveries nationally.
    • Address Client queries.

    Requirements

    • Matric (With Maths and accounting)
    • 2-3 Years of administration in the Road freight industry.
    • 2-3 Years experience in the electronic processing system (SAP, Pastel any other advantageous)
    • 2-3 Years of Knowledge of the petroleum (Fueling on road and bulk) industry.
    • Understanding of the impact of own role on service delivery to internal and external customer
    • service mindset.
    • Able to work flexible hours in line with business requirements. This includes alternate
    • weekends.
    • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
    • Reliable transport.

    Finance Manger (The WOA Company)

    Job Specification:

    • Based at Umhlanga Durban
    • Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8-5 and if required on Weekends.
    • Package R 35,000.00-R40,000.00 depending on Experience and qualifications.

    Requirements to be met-PLEASE NO CHANCERS

    • Accounting Degree from a reputable university.
    • Extensive working experience in Manufacturing and wholesale environments working with stock,
    • debtors, creditors, and suppliers.
    • Pastel Evolution is non-negotiable (with recent work experience) - Not older than a year.
    • Desired Pastel evolution experience -6+ Years.
    • Own transport- Preferably.
    • BBBEE is not applicable –preferably older.
    • Clear Criminal record.
