    Occupational Health and Compliance Officer

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 12 (NQF level 4) and a 3 year National Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6 or 7) OHS Qualification or equivalent. The Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Legislative compliance or OHS experience. Experience in supervisory role will be an added advantage.

    Key Performance Areas:

    The successful applicant will be expected to perform the following tasks amongst others but not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:

    • Facilitate compliance with OHS legislative requirements within PanSALB
    • Manage and maintain PanSALB’s compliance program
    • Facilitate OHS Committee meetings on behalf of PanSALB
    • Management of budget and resources
    • Compilation and management of reports.

    Asset Manager

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 12 (NQF level 4) and a 3 year National Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6 or 7) in Assets management / SCM or equivalent qualification (NQF level 6 or 7).
    • The Applicant must have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in Asset Management. Experience in a supervisory role will be an added advantage.

    Key Performance Areas:

    Assistant Manager: Acquisition

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Applicants must be in possession of a 3 year National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration (or equivalent qualification) with 3 to 5 years’ experience working in the procurement environment, experience and knowledge of materials management.
    • A Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage. Sound knowledge of language and legislation Policy, Financial Awareness, Operational Planning and Public Sector Governance. Sound knowledge of financial management systems, process and procedures, risk management and contract management.
    • Knowledge of the relevant National Treasury legislation and regulations, and the PFMA. Understand the Preferential Procurement Framework Act of 2000 and the Black Economic Empowerment Act. Sound Knowledge of Supply Chain Management policies, processes and procedures.
    • A valid Code 08 drivers’ license and preparedness to work under pressure and travel extensively. Willingness to accept responsibility and other functions that may be delegated.

    Key Performance Areas:

    •  The successful incumbent will be expected to perform amongst others but not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities: Administration of the tendering process through evaluating tender submissions according to procurement policies and procedures as well as treasury relations.
    • Procurement of goods and services for PANSALB through categorizing service providers according to the goods/services they can supply and obtain quotations for the required good/services. Processing Payment within the SCM Unit by keeping record of all our contracts to meet our obligation per contract entered into.
    • Support the optimization of Supply Chain Unit. Manage database through capturing all the supplier’s application forms on PANSALB’S database on quarterly basis etc. Administration of voice and data contracts.
    • Contract Management through developing monitoring and evaluation reports. Maintain and monitor physical/electronic records of all tenders and contract documents and files.

    Senior Human Resource Practitioner

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 12 (NQF level 4), 3 year National Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification. Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
    • At least 3 years of HR experience within a generalist HR environment, sound knowledge of HR legislation, HR Payroll, and Performance Management System

    Key Performance Areas:

    Chief Language Practitioner: Isindebele

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Applicants must be in possession of a 3 year National Diploma or B-degree (NQF level 6/7) in Languages (or equivalent qualification) with translation, Interpreting, status language planning, lexicography, terminology, coupled with 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Language Practitioner. A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
    • 3-5 years’ experience working on Language matters, including Linguistic Human Rights. Sound knowledge of the Language Legislation, Monitoring and Evaluation System.
    • Knowledge of Research, Policy Development and the PanSALB Act. A good command of at least three (3) official languages of the relevant Province. A valid Code 08 drivers’ license and preparedness to work under pressure and travel extensively.

    Key Performance Areas: 

    • The successful incumbent will be expected to perform amongst others but not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities: Coordination of structures meetings for creating conditions for language use and development. Develop and update databases and records of approved products and services by PanSALB.
    • Arrange and co-ordinate language promotion awareness workshops. Create awareness on the importance of translation and interpreting services. Assist in developing guidelines, policies and frameworks. Carry out language research programmes. Carry out Linguistic Human Rights programmes.
    • Development and implementation of Linguistic Human Rights monitoring tools. Language promotion media coverage / reports. Use radio interviews on language matters. Hosting events promoting multilingualism/ Mother Tongue. Establish partnerships with stakeholders.
    • Develop a stakeholder database. Ensure proper functioning of established reading clubs. Carry out administrative support services in the province.

    Senior Accountant Clerk Payroll Management

    Minimum Requirements:

    •  Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 12 (NQF level 4) with Accountancy and a 3 year National Diploma (NQF level 6) in payroll or equivalent.
    • A postgraduate qualification (NQF level 7/8) will be an added advantage, and 2 years of relevant experience in a financial accounting environment. Willingness to work outside normal office hours.

    Key Performance Areas: 

    • The successful incumbent will be expected to perform, amongst others, but not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities: Administration of travelling, Sustenance and Travel claims, and creditors’ claims;
    • Provide effective Payroll Administrative support services for PanSALB; Processing of creditors’ payments for PanSALB; Financial Administrative support; Assist in developing financial policies; Administer petty cash account, Administer return/cancelled cheques, Administer requests for cash advance.
