    Legal Editor: Secondary - Durban

    Responsibilities

    • Building and maintaining author relationships for existing publications, ensuring timely receipt of manuscript in proper format.
    • Developing, updating, and adhering to production release schedules in compliance with customer and business needs
    • Assuring receipt of complete manuscript, supporting documentation, and release highlights for all publications.
    • Copyediting and reviewing manuscript for substantive accuracy with consideration for functionality in all media. Observing the conventions of the product itself and LexisNexis.
    • Implementing operational efficiencies to support best practices and adherence to publishing milestones.
    • Supporting marketing and sales activities by collaborating with colleagues. create content for sales campaigns and training, value statements and other formation as requested.
    • Contributing to initiatives as needed, including competitor analysis, content expansion, new product development, Practical Guidance, CLE, sales training, tool testing. Contributing to any other new initiatives that may arise.

    Requirements

    • Experience in publishing or solid legal practice experience
    • Able to demonstrate solid organizational and project management skills when dealing with multiple priorities to meet rigid and frequent deadlines.
    • Be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative and good problem-solving skills
    • Prioritize time management skills to meet rigid and frequent deadlines
    • Have experience with content management systems and MS Office
    • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate collaboration across multiple time zones.

    Security Engineer I - Cape Town

    About the Role

    • Assist in the enhancing and maintaining the necessary tools and systems to manage the security posture of the organization. Utilize various security tools, processes, and data feeds to detect and respond to security events. This involves working with tools such as privileged access management (PAM), identity management, our SIEM platform and other security tools. 
    • We are seeking a candidate with an interest in cybersecurity and motivation to learn and grow in the field. The candidate should have an understanding of cybersecurity principles and exposure to cloud technologies. Familiarity with coding and the ability to write basic applications in Python is desirable.     About the Role

    • Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of clients and acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives. Delivering target growth in subscription revenue for current contracts with existing customers in the corporate market and create a strong future pipeline of new up-sell opportunities within this customer base.

    Requirements:

    • Able Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus.
    • Able to Identify, develop and typically close renewal opportunities and new sales opportunities in the form of upsells and cross sells.

    • Achieve revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account via renewals, upsells and cross selling.

    Software Engineer III - Johannesburg

    • BASIC FUNCTIONS: This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
