    Senior Internal Auditor

    Revised role will be respondible be the Internal Control representative responsible for the following within the Botswana and wider WECA business unit:

    • GCS Related:
      • GCS Maturity Assessment co-ordination, validation and CY Opportunity follow up / implementation
      • GCS Quarterly Testing and Certification co-ordination
      • GCS Documentation update - Ongoing
      • Failed KC testing and remediation monitoring - Monthly
      • Independent testing of ALL Controls - at least once per annum
      • GCS RA Sessions per process per entity - H1 and H2
      • Non Routine Risk Assessments – Quarterly
      • GCS and Smart Spend Policy related Training - H1 and H2

      • Perfoms audits on all functions in the organisation to ensure compliance with company policy, Procedures and statutory requirements
      • Review and implement company policy and procedures to ensure that these are in line with the latest business requirements /support efficiency and cost effectiveness
      • Monitors key performance indicators to identify possible risk areas and recommend procedural enhancement in order to improve organisational performance in line with the business plan
      • Provides consulting support and ensure involvement and execution of project related control matters to ensure all risks and controls are adequately identified and mitigated within the business
      • Conducts investigations and gathers evidence to endure that the organisation recovers potential losses and take corrective actions
      • Responsible for development and coordination of risk management programmes and ensures that risk management progrmmes are designed to identify and measure risk
      • Responsible to make accurate risk mitigating recommendations to implement controls,transfer risk to avoid the risk related business. Collect and analyses risk information and ensure that the organisation is adequately protected against loss

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • BCom (Accountancy & Audit)
    • CA (SA) / CIA qualification preferred (for capacity building / succession planning)
    • Sound knowledge of COSO, Effective Internal Controls & Risk management frameworks
    • 3 Years Articles
    • 5 -6 years Internal Audit / External Audit
    • FMCG experience (post articles) business process design & project involvement

    Manager Reporting

    Financial Reporting:

    • Manage the accounting and recording of financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP and PepsiCo policies.
    • Review the monthly reporting of BU financials in HFM and any other related reporting to the Region
    • Review and approve the monthly Management Accounts (Flash), Operating Review, Balance Sheet Review and KPI’s
    • Review the Annual Financial Statements in compliance with IFRS /SA GAAP and the Companies Act
    • Review and approve the preparation of Notes for the record relating to technical accounting aspects affecting the Business
    • Implement new accounting policies and advise the relevant stakeholders of changes
    • Deliver high quality financial information on an accelerated basis to support PepsiCo’s SEC filing requirements
    • Drive AOP Vision of excellence in reporting for all SSA Cluster business units/market units with NIL PTR

    Governance & Compliance:

    • Lead R2R (FR) GCS process and ensure self-assessment and remediation action plans are implemented timely
    • Responsible for identifying significant risks and communicating them to management, as well as developing mitigation plans to prevent or reduce the realization of those risks
    • Ensure presentation of Balance Sheet Review is correctly prepared for and delivered in-line with PepsiCo requirements
    • Review the monthly Balance Sheet packs for Snacks, Beverages, Grains and Senselet including KPI’s and ensure that commentary and analysis adequately presents or highlights exposures to the Leadership Team (Local /Cluster), and Sector
    • Oversee the BU’s insurance process, coverage and accounting thereof, including the relationship with the broker i.e. AON

    Projects & Ad Hoc Tasks:

    • Lead projects and participate in business initiatives as directed by the Control & Reporting Leadership
    • Responsible for ensuring Financial models, systems, check files and presentations development and maintainence

    People Management:

    • Motivate, coach and lead direct report(s) to achieve highest standards of excellence
    • Develop talent and capability within the team and ensure effective backup and succession planning in place
    • Act as first point of contact for all reporting matters of Legacy PEP business

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Key Skills/ Experience Required

    • CA (SA)
    • People management experience of 3-5 years
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance environment post articles
    • Deep experience with IFRS, US GAAP and SEC reporting principles and practices
    • FDM experience is advantageous
    • Computer literate i.e. MS Office, HFM, SAP experience is preferred
    • Ability to self-manage in a complex and matrix environment
    • Good interpersonal skills to deal with a variety of people from different backgrounds
    • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior management
    • Analytical skills, attention to detail and problem solving

    Manager Operations Bakeries - Aeroton

    • The management of quality product through continual monitoring of the line performance through the optimization of quality vs. cost relationship.
    • Effective utilisation of labour hours to maximise product yields and minimise breakage and waste.
    • Ensure that adequate staffing is available to execute operational plans and that manning levels are at specification.
    • Ensure that development and training needs of FLEs and direct reports are fulfilled.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Tertiary qualification in Production Management or equivalent
    • Knowledge of quality assurance standards and systems.
    • Computer literate (Access and MS Office)
    • Knowledge of safety regulations
    • Sound Employee relations knowledge
    • Successfully works with others in a Management role: Quality, Facilities, Engineering, Raw Materials Stores and Distribution.
    • Minimum 5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment of which at least 3 years at managerial level.

    Assistant Bus System Specialist

    • Assist to creates all requests on behalf of the business and confirm the necessary approvals before creating the request.
    • Assist user mitigation for sensitive access.
    • New user requests are for all SAP systems. SAP PRD, GRC, EWM and BI.
    • User authorization requests for the addition of a specific function.
    • Authorization changes when transfers are made.
    • Authorization maintenance to update or remove roles as processes change or become obsolete.
