    Accounts Payable Specialist

     day in the life of a Nespresso Accounts Payable Specialist

    • Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests in a timely manner
    • Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system.
    • Prepare and process weekly, monthly, and annual payment runs.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for payment.
    • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned manage the central accounts payable inbox on a daily basis.

    • Process Goods receipt journals in accordance with service delivery.
    • Follow up on outstanding supplier statements and perform supplier reconciliations in accordance with deadlines.
    • Load local and foreign payments onto the RMB banking platform.
    • Prepare and reconcile bank reconciliations in F&O.
    • Assist the Accounting and Reporting manager as needed.

    What will make you successful.

    • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., MS Dynamics)

    Operations Compliance Specialist

    A day in the life an Operations Compliance Specialist:

    • Ensure adherence to Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards for establishing standard cost budget, reporting of actual results and accuracy of period end close across factories, and application thereof for dynamic forecasts.
    • Ensure adherence to all Company principles, policies and procedures in relation to the Manufacturing Costing cost of Goods Sold, Transfer Prices and Distribution and White-Collar expenses. Ensure compliance with the GAR-Cost Management procedures and adherence to the Best Practices.
    • Pursue the development of effective controls through constant and structured review and update of standard operating procedures and policies throughout operations. Facilitate the deployment of new/revised control processes and activities through policies and procedure and maintain the market central policy and procedures repository.
    • Ensure clear control and visibility of assets and liabilities, including effective cost control of budgets (including materials)
    • Drive stewardship and ownership of internal controls to ensure that the business demonstrates the proper level of ownership (responsibility and accountability) for the effectiveness of internal controls in their areas. This includes a period self-assessment associated with various financial and functional processes and the assurance that effective mitigating controls have been established. Ensure corrective action plans are developed towards the resolution of control outages is authentic sustainable over time to avoid repeat issues.
    • Coordinate the Internal Control Self-Assessment: Facilitate on time completion of the end-to-end self-assessment process to ensure sustained internal control at sites. To make a yearly statement where the factory is in the journey of compliance and brilliance at the basics.  Monitoring of the action plans to ensure remediation of compliance gaps and closure as per established deadlines related to IC Self-Assessment process.
    • Organize internal and external benchmarking of Operations performance.
    • Evaluate and drive optimizations across the different functions within Operations.

    What will make you successful?

    • BCom Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Internal Audit or similar.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience within an FMCG or Manufacturing environment is essential.

    Factory Planner / Buyer - Babelegi

    A day in the life of a Factory Planner

    • Creating feasible production plans within the Detailed Production Scheduling (DPS) period that meet the market demand, taking into consideration available capacity, labor, materials, inventory policy and product family sequencing; thereby optimizing the factory's ability to produce the SKUs within the families.
    • Identification of possible opportunities and practical issues (plant shutdowns, timing of promotion activity, etcetera) within the DPS period.
    • Providing advance information on labor and resource requirements within the DPS period.

    What will make you successful

    • 3 years minimum tertiary Degree in Supply Chain or related studies

    Applications Product Technologist - Babelegi

    A day in the life of a Product Technologist:

    I&R Excellence:

    • Lead I&R projects by working in cross-functional teams (marketing, technical and factory) and following the NPDI process from Concept to post-launch:
    • Develop formulations aligned with PTC/R&D Center and in compliance with relevant legislations as well as NF criteria and 60/40 methodology.
    • Determine best packaging solution with packaging technologist.

    • 3yr National Diploma in Food Technology / Food Engineering
    • 3 years working experience in FMCG in R&D or manufacturing environment (Food preferably)
