The successful applicant will be involved in a diverse array of Employment Law matters across a spectrum of clients in various industries. This is an opportunity to enhance current skills, gain excellent hands on experience to challenging matters and at the appropriate level. The successful incumbent will also have the advantage of training and mentorship from seasoned professionals in this field.

The ideal candidate should have experience in all facets of Employment Law. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion for employment law is essential. A good work ethic, an ability to conceive strategy, exercise initiative and take responsibility together with the capacity to work under pressure in a fast paced environment are essential

Responsibilities

• Drafting of pleadings, affidavits, notices, opinions and correspondence
• Advising and consulting with clients and counsel as well as appearing at the CCMA, Labour Court, Labour Appeal Court and High Court
• Legal research
• Participation in the marketing of the team which might include participation in presentations and seminars
