    Payroll Administrator (TG07)

    The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for providing supportive, administrative and co-ordination functions to the Human Resources systems and record keeping systems, whilst ensuring employees are remunerated timeously and accurately within Durban ICC. 

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES 
    Minimum Qualifications 

    • National Diploma in Human Resource Management 
    • Minimum of two (02) to three (03) years’ experience in payroll and Human Resource Administration

    KEY PERFORMANCE / MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE 

    • Process monthly payroll by capturing all payroll information onto the VIP system 
    • Review payroll payments to ensure accuracy and existence of supporting documents 
    • Update payroll system by capturing new engagements, updating information on existing employees and terminations 
    • Compile and submit UIF monthly declarations to the Department of Labour 
    • Provide input on HR related projects 
    • Ensure that EMP201’s are reconciled on a monthly basis 
    • Process and capture EE (Employment Equity) and B-BBEE Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) reports online as well as prepare EE reports. 
    • Process employee benefits such as pension fund by submitting pension fund withdrawal claims, to ensure that funds are paid out to staff upon termination.
    • Process information with regards to medical aid, such as new applications, additions/removal of dependents. 
    • Compile and submit monthly leave balance reports to HOD’s to monitor and manage staff leave usage. 
    • Facilitate online submission of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Plan (ATR) with supporting documents 
    • Ensure that HR and payroll reporting is conducted timeously, on a weekly and monthly basis 
    • To administer the Gig employment programme of the Durban ICC.
