    Stores Controller x2

    SIX (06) MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT 
    (INTERNAL & EXTERNAL) 

    • The organisation is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the position of Store Controller for Beverage and Food Stores. 
    • The Store Controller is critical for maintaining clear records of inventory, issuing of stock, placing orders as per the requirements of the events and providing smooth operations in the stores.

    Graphic Designer (TG 10)

    Junior Chef De Partie-Hot Kitchen (TG 06)

    The Durban ICC is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the position of Junior Chef De Partie-Hot Kitchen. The suitable candidate will be required to provide support to the Chef De Partie in coordinating menus, preparation of food as well as serving food to Durban ICC guests. 

    Minimum Qualification and Experience 

    • Certificate in Professional Cookery, or relevant NQF level 4 qualification 
    • One (1) year experience in a world class hospitality and banqueting establishment

    Culinary Executive (TG 16)

    The organisation is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the position of Culinary Executive. 
    The Culinary Executive will be responsible for overall success of the daily kitchen operations whilst exhibiting culinary talents by leading staff and managing all food related functions.     Operations Executive (TG 17)

    Payroll Administrator (TG07)

    The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for providing supportive, administrative and co-ordination functions to the Human Resources systems and record keeping systems, whilst ensuring employees are remunerated timeously and accurately within Durban ICC.

    • Process monthly payroll by capturing all payroll information onto the VIP system

    • Process employee benefits such as pension fund by submitting pension fund withdrawal claims, to ensure that funds are paid out to staff upon termination.
    • Process information with regards to medical aid, such as new applications, additions/removal of dependents. 
    • Compile and submit monthly leave balance reports to HOD’s to monitor and manage staff leave usage. 
    • Facilitate online submission of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Plan (ATR) with supporting documents 
    • Ensure that HR and payroll reporting is conducted timeously, on a weekly and monthly basis 
    • To administer the Gig employment programme of the Durban ICC.

    Human Resource Administrator (TG07)

    The organisation is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the position of the Human Resource Administrator.

    Senior Human Resource Manager (TG 16)

    The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and facilitating all human resource functions within the Durban ICC. 

    The incumbent will report to the Chief Corporate Services Officer. 

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES 
    Minimum Qualifications 

    • Honours Degree in Human Resources Management 
    • Master’s Degree is preferred 

    Experience

    • 6-8 years’ experience in human resource management, with at least 3 years at Management level. 
    • Two years’ experience in boards and or committees will be an added advantage 
    • Experience in SAGE VIP Payroll 
    • Extensive experience in HR Information Systems 
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office 
    • Sound knowledge of LRA,BCEA, EEA, SDL, SAQA 
    • Experience with representing the company at the CCMA 
    • A good understanding of budgeting 
    • Experience in human resource business partnering
