    QA Engineer

    The Department
    QA (Quality Assurance) are responsible for the overall quality and testing architecture of our products that our department produces. We use a range of innovative front-end and back-end tools & technology to drive robust, well-engineered practices through to delivery, giving the business that sought after confidence.     Purpose Of The Role
    QA Engineer will perform testing procedures on the Web /Mobile Application Software and ensure all errors are identified and corrected before release to clients.
    You will be involved in ensuring high quality is engrained into teams as well as working closely with developers to give them a test perspective.

    Duties Include, But Not Limited To

    • Quality form the start – get involved in the user story definition process and write test scenarios upfront.
    • Bring a QA perspective to planning sessions and ensure test effort is taken into consideration.
    • Work close with developers to ensure that quality is considered and they are creating the right kind of tests.
    • Work with product owners to ensure they sign off work items during the UAT phase.
    • Support - Assist with resolution and reproduction of user software problems.
    • Creation of automated test within as well as conversion of current manual tests.
    • Work within the ATDD framework and define items using BDD style syntax.
    • Ensure that bugs are treated with importance and try to limit the amount that make it live.

    Essential Criteria

    • Full understanding of testing web/mobile applications and websites and associated technologies
    • Communication skills - ability to communicate with clients and line management
    • Experience of agile and the Scrum or Kanban methodology
    • Experience with test automation tools and strategies
    • Experience of using BDD effectively
    • Proven C# / Java experience

    Senior BI Developer

    Purpose of the Role:

    A role exists for a Senior BI Developer in an online organization with a good history and strong Data Team. This role requires a motivated, energetic, inquisitive and highly numerate person who has a solid technical base but also possesses an appreciation for numbers and understands the value that can be derived from interrogating them.

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    • Integration of new sources of data into company databases so that it can also be analysed and included in relevant reports
    • Designing new database structures or enhancing existing ones to cater for optimal process flow and optimal user querying
    • Integration of data into relevant workflow processes, with the specific aim of continuously improvement and data optimisation
    • Conceptualizing, defining and delivering new reports as well as improving existing ones
    • Analysis of data from various sources in order to ensure that the business acts proactively on the information at its disposal

    Essential Criteria:

    • Undergraduate degree (or substantial progress towards one) with majors in IS / math / stats / engineering or similar. Alternatively, at least 3 years work experience in a business intelligence role will be considered. A relevant post-graduate degree will be a strong plus
    • 6+ years strong SQL experience (creation of stored procedures, functions, automation of jobs, performance tuning and optimization, RDBMS, error handling and logging, incremental data loading, change tracking/cdc. etc.)
    • Minimum 4 years SSIS experience (creation of complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, error handling, loading data from various data sources (flat files, xml), integration of new data into data warehouse, precedence constraints, parameterized connections, etc.)
    • Ability to build reports in Excel and reporting tools such as SSRS.
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience with OLAP reporting tools and cube technologies, such as SSAS/Cognos (creation, implementation and maintenance of multi-dimensional cubes, MDX, DAX)
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in front end visualisation tools such as Power BI/ Qlikview /Tableau/ Cognos (creation, implementation and maintenance of analytical dashboards and visualisations)
    • Advanced skills in MS Excel.

    QA Automation Engineer

    Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Review, analyse and identify automation requirements based on the functional and design specifications and ensure full understanding of deliverables.
    • Review system architecture to determine appropriate test points.
    • Proactively raise questions and seek resolution of outstanding clarifications required for automation setup.
    • Implement automation strategies using a variety of tools to check quality standards and identify possible issues.
    • Potential writing of custom automation solutions.
    • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate issues to management.
    • Provide your Technical Lead with metrics, analyses, and other relevant reports for automation across development.

    Senior QA Technical Tester

    Purpose of the Role:

    We are looking for a focused, self- motivated and dynamic individual to join our Software Development Team. Reporting to the Team Lead, the successful candidate will ensure the testing needs for all supported projects are met in a timely manner and that all software products meet the quality levels set by Business. The Technical Tester will be responsible for the analysis, planning, execution and reporting of technical test related activities for developed business applications, ensuring that they are effectively tested against agreed functional and non-functional requirements prior to, and post production deployment. Our ideal candidate should have strong technical testing, interpersonal and communication skills, working diligently with Development and Product teams to deliver high quality software.

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    • Review, analyse, identify test requirements based on the functional, design specifications from technical documentation (Business/Development briefs, Use Case Diagrams, Architectures and/or Integration Documents), and ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.

    Finance Operations Manager

    Purpose of the Role:

    The purpose of the Finance Operations Manager role is to lead and manage the payment processor reconciliation and purchase & refund control function within the Finance department.  This role is responsible for providing assistance to the Head of Treasury to ensure that all purchases, refunds and payment processing costs are correctly posted, up to date and adequately monitored. This role is also responsible to serve as a full back up function to the Processing and Control Team Leads that report directly into this position. This role will also be required to work closely with the Treasury Team Lead.

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    Systems and process management:

    • Ensuring that the Financial systems (ERP and Reporting) are operating effectively across all entities in the appropriate area of responsibility.
    • Investigate and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiencies in the team (i.e. better use of data imports etc)
    • Liaise with BI to ensure that the transactional data received is relevant, accurate, complete and received on time.
    • Review reporting to ensure that all the relevant dimensions are posted.
    • Ensure that appropriate processes are in place in order to identify potential problems and escalate when required.
    • Attend weekly BI meetings to ensure that all issues and queries are being addressed and escalated based on priority.
    • Ensure appropriate processes are in place to ensure that the team operates efficiently and meets group deadlines

    Payment Processor oversight:

    • Overall management of the processor reconciliation team.
    • Manage the relationship with the relevant data and BI teams to ensure that all information is received in the manner required and on time.
    • Understand requirements of all new payment processors to ensure that our systems are able to cater for new products.
    • Prepare the overall month end reports and query anomalies with the processor reconciliation team.
    • Prepare the monthly stakeholder reporting pack highlighting significant items.
    • Review fees by processor to ensure fees are charged in accordance with the contracts.
    • Ensure all processor and wallet balances are reconciled to third party statements monthly.
    • Escalate queries timeously to ensure quick resolution.
    • Monitor foreign exchange losses and look to reduce foreign exposure.
    • Extensive management of internal and external audits, ensuring reporting is on time for group review and submission to auditors.

    Team management:

    • Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
    • Openly communicate with managers and team members to ensure that all key deliverables are met on time and accurately and any queries are resolved timeously.
