    Regional Sales Engineer

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Regional Sales Engineer (RSE) will lead strategic sales targeting large industrial and municipal accounts with multiple influencers in their assigned geographic territory. They will also be responsible for a defined list of Global Key Accounts, like Veolia, Shell, Coco Cola and Nestle. You'll promote the company’s full catalogue of products, from instrumentation and reagents to fully integrated solutions and services. This highly autonomous role requires strong intuition for business, planning, and the ability to implement strategic sales plans.

    Role And Responsibilities

    • Develops monthly sales territory and account plans to achieve assigned targets
    • Executes planned activities and documents in Hach CRM, Salesforce.com (SFDC)
    • Manages all opportunities utilizing SFDC and following standard sales process steps
    • Prepares and presents a weekly funnel review utilizing SFDC to demonstrate the quality of the funnel, activity plans, and command of the account base
    • Prepares and presents monthly forecasts by accurately managing opportunity dates, dollar value, and probabilities in SFDC
    • Establish and maintain relationships with engineering firms and other accounts that indirectly influence the buying decisions of the customer
    • Develops a network of customer and industry contacts in the territory to position Hach as a key member of the water management community
    • Listens to the voice of the customer and asks great questions which inspire breakthroughs for our customers
    • Willing to move to action quickly and not get derailed in details or fear of failure
    • Uses metrics, KPI, and forecasting to self-manage productivity
    • Develops, nurtures, and understands health of customer opportunity funnel and openly works with leadership and sales operations to ensure best results
    • Actively develops a pipeline of prospects
    • Develop, drive and execute Key Account Management plans in conjunction with Sales and Marketing Manager

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5 years of direct sales experience in analytical instrumentation
    • B2B experience selling complex industrial products and solutions
    • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus. A degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent is an asset.
    • Hands-on experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com) preferred
    • Must have own reliable vehicle
    • Ability to develop and execute a business plan and manage territory as it is one’s own business

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus. A degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, Instrumentation or equivalent is an asset.

    Financial Accountant

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Financial Accountant is accountable to Support the Finance team by managing the revenue processes, reporting and analysis. Act as stand in AR/AP Clerk & Master Data Administrator .

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Drive continuous process improvement using DBS (Danaher Business Systems) tools
    • Compile and review reports and variance analysis for submission to Financial Controller
    • Assist in close processes, prepare account reconciliations and make related journal entries
    • Processing of bank transactions and other treasury functions
    • Enforce accounting policy and procedures
    • Calculate intercompany recharge amounts  and hand over to AR clerk to raise invoice
    • Preparation of Payroll Schedules
    • Preparation and submission of indirect taxes (PAYE , VAT )
    • Preparation of tax schedules for IT14 submission
    • Prepare BSB and lead weekly Gemba evidence
    • Assist with Onestream consolidations
    • Work with Finance and Sales to analyze pricing and ensure planned efficiencies achieved
    • Prepare TMPS quarterly for B-BBEE submission
    • QDIP & SOP creation and updates
    • Other duties as assigned

    Master Data Analyst

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Master Data Analyst Support the Finance team by managing the Invoicing and Master Data Process . Act as stand in for Accounts Receivable Clerk and Accounts Payable Clerk     

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Invoice Creation from Sales Orders
    • Manage Master Data integrity for AP / AR / Order Management
    • Place intercompany PO's on Oracle
    • Place all other PO's first manually and then help with project conversion to Oracle . This include travel
    • Assist Logistics with POD management
    • QDIP & SOP creation and updates
    • Other duties as assigned

    Channel Partner Manager (Re-advertised)

    POSITION SUMMARY:
    The Channel Partner Manager will be responsible for the effective management of our CP’s in an increasingly competitive and challenging marketplace. They will have to use the tools in the Danaher Business System to grow revenue and ensure accurate reporting of key metrics for success. This is a high-profile role and will report directly to the sales manager.

    Role And Responsibilities

    • Developing a Channel Partner strategy in accordance with company business strategy.
    • Defining, maintaining, refreshing, and explaining Channel Partner related processes, SOPs etc.
    • Recruiting and filtering new Channel Partners; Terminating existing Channel Partners
    • Handle Channel Partners’ routine management (distribution agreement, compliance, credit control etc.) in cooperation with other functions.
    • Consolidating Channel Partners’ periodical reporting
    • Handling the Channel Partners’ performance management: ensuring delivery of annual targets, scorecard, sell-through, RACI, forecasting etc.
    • Handling Channel Partners’ channel conflicts management: project registration, arbitration etc.
    • Overseeing Channel Partners’ training and development plan and implementation
    • Together with marketing, supporting Channel Partners’ marketing activities, and sales tools.
    • Together with Service, building CPs’ service capability.
    • Participates in sales activities including customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations and customer seminars with the CP
    • Use CRM (SalesForce) system for customer contacts, activities, funnel management, forecasting, and project management
    • Collects and reports information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory.

    BACKGROUND & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
    The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and background to perform effectively in the role:

    • 5 years channel management experience in multi-national B2B business
    • 5 years’ experience as in industrial sales.
    • Ability to handle pressure
    • Have commercial acumen
    • Integrity is mandatory
    • Knowing the market and water products is a plus

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5 years sales management experience is mandatory
    • Must have his/her own reliable vehicle
    • Proven track record of integrity and compliance in all business dealings
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering results beyond expectations
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate difficult business environments

    EDUCATION:

    • BA or BSc degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences, or equivalent experience. Bachelor/Master in Business Management/Engineering/Chemistry with relevant experience in the water sector is a plus
