    Information Security Analyst - Sandton

    Key Purpose

    • Perform penetration tests using various techniques that mimic real-world attacks to exploit vulnerabilities on web and mobile applications within the Discovery Group.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited

    • Work with relevant stakeholders to determine penetration testing requirements and
    • Plan and create penetration methods, scripts and tests
    • Carry out penetration testing to expose weaknesses in security
    • Simulate security breaches to test a system's relative security
    • Create reports and recommendations from findings, including the security issues uncovered and level of risk
    • Advise on methods to fix or lower security risks to systems
    • Present findings, risks and conclusions to relevant stakeholders

    iOS Developer (Senior) - Sandton

    Key Purpose

    This team is responsible for the Discovery member application published to the Play Store. They work with other Discovery business units to deliver innovative solutions to all members.

    Within the Digital system area, the iOS developer will work on the Discovery application together with Product Owners from various business units, Business Analysts, UX/UI designers & Content Teams, System Architect, and managers to understand the overall business need and the requirements, design the system solution using various approaches and technologies, implement the designed solution in the system with high quality source code.

    iOS developers support the projects throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements, design, implementation, release, and post release support.

    iOS developers in the Digital area must be able to technically support and maintain the deployed applications on dev, test and production environments.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    Senior iOS developers must have a competent understanding of:

    • The system development life cycle and can explain the developer’s role in each stage
    • The defined system development tools, processes and workflows
    • The distinction between business, functional and non-functional requirements and how to implement them
    • The importance of delivering high quality source code and how to achieve it
    • The technologies used and the systems components structure
    • The domain and business terminologies and link them back to system implementations 

    Senior iOS developers should be able to demonstrate that they can:

    Content Administrator - Sandton

    Key Purpose

    Manages the creation, editing and publication of content within the Content Management System, by actioning content requests and delivering on customer requests. Ensures that requested content adheres to site and content standards as laid out by the Content Management Team. Provides feedback to content requestors and customers throughout the content administration process.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    Content creation and administration - Ensure that all requests are complete and logical and that additional information is sourced where necessary.

    • Create / upload / edit content across the relevant web channel within the Content Management System based on specifications provided by the client.
    • Understand and use the correct CMS templates, structures and styles/elements per channel/area.
    • Ability to manage and reinforce the folder/content structures within the Content Management System while adhering to folder naming guidelines and taxonomy standards.

    Pmb Specialist (Psych) Fixed Term Contract

    Key Purpose

    • The processing of out of hospital PMB Psychotherapy applications in line with PMB protocols and in accordance with the benefit entry criteria. To assist and support the PMB Operations team with ad hoc projects and tasks.
