    Database Administrator

    The detail:

    Support

    • Support and maintain standards for the production database environments.
    • Maintain the integrity of the production database environments, including performance, data, and stability of the systems.
    • Verify the structure, accuracy, or quality of data changes.
    • Complete support activities in a timely fashion.

    Maintenance

    • Monitor database related operation reports to ensure service SLAs are being met.
    • Ensure all database schema changes are in TFS before UAT and production deployments.
    • Provide or coordinate troubleshooting support for the business.
    • Assist in creating products and UAT deployment packages.
    • Ensuring data security policies and processes are followed.

    General

    • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

    Are you this person?

    • Are you MSCA certified?
    • Experience with MS SQL Server 2012, 2014, and or 2016, stored procedures, views, TVF/UDF?
    • Good working knowledge of SQL Server Security?
    • Good working knowledge of SQL performance and maintenance?
    • Agile/ scrum using TFS?
    • Working knowledge of SharePoint with Power View / Power Pivot, PowerBi Reporting?

    Support Engineer

    The role:

    • Are you the best “Support Engineer” in the market?

    • This Support Engineer will be responsible for developing, configuring as well supporting and maintaining financial systems.

    The detail:

    Ticket System

    • 3rd line systems support.
    • Attend and manage all tickets assigned daily(such as: billing queries, tariffs and other customer requirements) within the given SLA.
    • Escalate and feedback to the manager daily on tickets unresolved.

    Daily Operational Checks

    • Monitor the performance of the system.
    • Maintain connection to 3rd parties. 

    Bill Run

    • Accurately and timeously execute monthly bill runs for MVNOs and provide reporting.
    • Generate input for invoice documentation generation using different forms.
    • Post financials to Pastel evolution.
    • Troubleshoot all issues within the billing process and/or system. 

    Are you this person?

    • Do you have a degree or diploma in IT?
    • Do you have experience in a systems development and support environment? (telecoms preferred)
    • 2 years+ PL/SQL Databases, DB structure and Oracle experience?
    • Linux/Unix bash scripting, Java? (Nice to have)
    • Would you consider yourself an expert in all things MS. Office?
    • Do you have experience is financial reporting?
    • Are you deadline driven?
