    Project Manager (US working hours)

    Description

    Although this role has been advertised as Content+Cloud, please note that you would be employed by Sipcom, one of the group’s companies.

     

    The Project Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of customer projects. The requirement of the role is ensuring the business provides the highest level of quality and drives innovation while ensuring our projects are delivered on-time, to budget and exceeds expectations. The Project Manager will deliver multiple small and medium sized projects, both direct and in conjunction with our partners. The role reports to the Senior Delivery Manager.

    Requirements

    • Lead and manage multiple, often concurrent, projects

    • Manage via project deliverables all technical and non-technical staff assigned to the project

    • Co-ordinate individual project goals and milestones into an appropriate schedule

    • Formulate and maintain an integrated workplan for all project and system enhancement activity.

    • Identify and track interdependencies and risks, and co-ordinate required activities and players to ensure successful delivery

    • Track and report project status relative to approved business case and scope, with transparency and insight into overall health of the project

    • Shape deliverables into coherent release plans, and ensure appropriate quality review and assurance processes are applied to all projects

    • Co-ordinate the delivery of change across Sipcom's product portfolio

    • SME of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices, with the ability to blend them in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment

    Attributes, Skills and Experience

    • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building

    • Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills, with an ability to manage competing demands

    • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence

    • Demonstrable track record of managing multiple projects

    • Matrix management experience

    • Builds and maintains effective relationships across competing areas and levels (sponsors, stakeholders, and end users)

    • Structured planning, organisation and time management skills

    • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view

    • Demonstrable Project Management experience delivering customer facing projects

    General

    • Standards – ensure the Company’s operations and functions are undertaken in accordance with the approved procedures, processes or Company standards and any improvements are identified.

    • Health & Safety – ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.

    • Departmental Support – support as necessary the other department functions as necessary to maximise the Company success and achieve set targets and objectives.

    • Communication - maintain excellent communications with all employees, clients and customers as required by the specific requirements of your role and to proactively ensure consistent and productive co-operation and dialogue between all Company personnel regardless of department to endeavour to ensure ongoing success for the Company as a whole.

    • Undertake any reasonable request to assist the Company meet internal and external expectations.

    Benefits

    • Salary dependent on experience

    • Role based out of our Century City offices (currently working remotely)

    • 37.5 hours per week

    • Working hours are Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 23:00 and Friday 13:00 - 17:00

    • 20 days’ annual leave
