    Digital Transformation Consultant

    Job description includes but is not limited to

    • Identify our clients’ critical issues and pitching perfectly tailored solutions featuring unique selling propositions
    • Plan and run innovation and co-creation workshops
    • Consult clients on market developments and technology improvements relevant to the client’s business as well as on opportunities related to working together with Vodacom asthe partner for digitalization 
    • Lead the customer interaction from pre-sales to project delivery and take over accountability for the execution of projects and delivering a superior client experience
    • Work closely together with account managers and other colleagues from Vodacom business units, Ventures and Partners, especially with our Smart SO Partners
    • Continuously ensure an attractive consulting and service offering for various client demands
    • Develop an understanding of the various chief officer problems and opportunity statements to ensure the digital transformation journey is aligned to the customer’s business
    • Assess customers’ digital maturity at senior management as well at the operational level to formulate robust digital transformation strategies

     

    Minimum requirements
     

    • Ten years + ICT industry or ICT consulting experience on Manager/ Associate Partner level 
    • Five years + experience in consultative selling of digital and technology solutions
    • Two years + experience in facilitating and participating in innovation workshops
    • Postgraduate qualification in business administration, economics or similar
    • Specialized master’s degree in the field of digital business is advantageous
    • Experience in agile ways of working is advantageous
    • In-depth knowledge in principles of lean innovation, the digital value chain, i.e. cloud computing, big data and analytics, fintech technologies, (Industrial) IoT
    • Understanding of Vodacom business and its subsidiaries as well as its products and propositions is advantageous 
    • Ability to measure and develop corporate innovation strategies and craft as well as execute a digital transformation roadmap with best suited solutions from Vodacom, its ventures and partners
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with a cross-section of management, including C-suite executives, at a global level
    • Understanding of the fundamentals of cybersecurity and how to apply it to digital transformation
    • Understanding of data-driven-decision making and the strategic importance of it in the customer’s business 
    • Knowledge of recent developments of digital business models, i.e. platform businesses, Web3 and ExO

    Design specialist: Writer

    Role Purpose

    • The User Experience Researcher is key to understanding the needs and behaviours of our core user base, through conducting qualitative and quantitative research and testing across Vodafone products and services, which is key to influencing their design and improving the customer experience. The UX Researcher will work closely with UX and UI colleagues and Product Owners within the Squad/s and has a key focus on ensuring our users are at the centre of everything we design. Typically reports to the Chapter Lead.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Collaborate with UX designers, product teams, and researchers to craft language systems across a variety of contexts, including UI components, to editorial content, to help text
    • Design scalable systems and structures to support large amounts of content
    • Anticipate customer needs based on their objectives and explore innovative solutions in a space where little precedence exists
    • Create user-centred solutions by considering market segment analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings
    • Use business requirements and customer research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements
    • Collaborate with UX design to quickly and iteratively create interaction flows, wireframes, and design mock-ups throughout the design process
       

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • A relevant BA/BSc Degree (e.g. Computer Science, Psychology, User Centred Design (UCD)) or advanced Design certification a must.
    • Favourable:  Journalism or editorial experience or background
    • 2+ year’s experience in the UX research or writing field.

    Job Knowledge:

    • Experience with UX writing for complex workflows software products
    • Experience working with user research teams and analysing customer feedback

    Marketing Manager: Mass and Rewards

    Role Purpose

    • Responsible for the overall marketing campaign management within the brand team and being responsible for the overall campaign launch & management of the mass & rewards segments 
       

    Your responsibilities will include

    Design Specialist: Research

    Role Purpose

    • As a User Researcher, you will work across a variety of platforms and products, testing and gaining insights that reveal the motivations and behaviours of users when they interact with us using the latest technologies.
       

    Your responsibilities will include

    • Work with product managers, data analytics, designers, and content strategists to identify user experience research focus areas and develop comprehensive testing plans.
    • Deliver insights, findings, and design recommendations based on research and usability best practices to colleagues within your working group and across the organization.
    • Support our product teams continuous delivery approach with a research structure that fosters and encourages a continuous consumer feedback loop.
    • Prioritize and coordinate multiple research projects at a time based on business need.
    • Review online customer feedback and intercept surveys to identify hot spots and themes where users may be struggling.
    • Work with design and development teams to produce prototypes for testing.
    • Proactively identify usability improvement opportunities and recommend research methods to understand them better.
    • Continuously evaluate, evolve, and evangelize the usability practices to meet the needs of the business.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • A relevant BA/BSc Degree (e.g. Computer Science, Psychology, User Centered Design (UCD)) or advanced Design certification a must.
    • 2+ years experience in the UX research field.

    Technical knowledge:

    • Knowledge of prevalent development practices, techniques and tools.
    • Exceptional understanding of fundamental design principles (typography, layout, grid systems, hierarchy, colour, composition) a must.
    • Industry knowledge pertinent to portfolio.
    • Strong command of interaction and visual design capabilities.
    • Knowledge in Usability Engineering & UXD Methods.

    Job Knowledge:

    • Demonstrate knowledge of estimating, designing, executing, and reporting on research activities using the most appropriate method, including, but not limited to, moderated and unmoderated usability studies, heuristic evaluations, card sorts, task-based analysis, surveys, proposition validation, prototyping and contextual inquiries.
    • Good understanding of prototyping and design tools such as Figma and Framer.
    • Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate both internally and with clientele in a professional manner and develop relationships.

    Account Manager

    Role Purpose

    The Account Manager role is based within Vodacom Business Unit, Central Region
    The role of the Account Manager will secure new business from their allocated customer list, derived from a specific set of customers within the Public Enterprise vertical. The Account Manager will need to successfully manage their current base whilst selling additional products and services into these customers.  The Account Manager will be required to minimise churn and maximise revenues with revenue growth being a key performance indicator. The objective is to increase the business from a target list of customers.
     

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Responsible for managing specific accounts and delivering profitable, long term business from those accounts
    • Works collaboratively to set up service relationship for nominated accounts
    • Provide input to help with decisions about new propositions, product mix and services for customers

    Key performance indicators

    • Plan and develop relationships with allocated customers to identify opportunities and strategies to win new or further business from these customers
    • Effectively manage numerous internal and external deadlines in order to respond to large RFPs for single and multi-country deals
    • Ensure billing customer service centres are supporting the nominated accounts

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    • Experience in solution sales and relationship management with a track record of solution selling 
    • A broad understanding of the ICT Landscape and Strategic ICT enablers. 
    • A thorough understanding of converged and networking technologies and services.
    • Demonstrated understanding of important financial concepts, the IT&T environments, purchasing practices and industry specific aspects of corporate customers.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Account Management
    • A 3 year commercial (B.Com/Business Science,IT) Degree or Equivalent qualification will be an advantage

    OR

    • A 3 year commercial (B.Com/Business Science,IT) Degree or Equivalent qualification with 3 years’ experience in Account Management

    Additional requirement:

    • Driver's licence (EB)
    • Own vehicle (essential)
