    Corporate Sales Manager

    • A Corporate Sales Manager serves as the corporate representative to prospective clients and customers who need our services.

    What will I be doing?

    As Corporate Sales Manager, you will manage group accommodations actively converting customer inquiries into confirmed sales. The Corporate Sales Manager will interact frequently with customers and Guests to learn about their needs and develop relationships from which to earn repeat and expand the business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Responsible for the completion of all relevant Global Corporate RFPs in a professional and timeous manner.
    • Compile relevant local corporate rate agreements as well as GDMs on ONQ solicitation. Ensure rates are loaded on the system and are bookable for the travel bookers.
    • Account and client Management, maintain excellent relationships with all clients and ensure that Hilton is top of mind at all times to increase revenue and ensure that we have our maximum share of wallet with all relevant corporate client and key accounts.
    • New business acquisitions from Front Office solicitation and Global Account Handlers.
    • Responsible for representing Hilton at relevant workshops
    • Planning and conducting Site inspections at the hotel to create awareness and generate business leads and conversions.
    • Quarterly reviews, production analysis and overview meetings for all managed accounts
    • Consistent sales calls as well as face to face meetings with held client base.
    • Duty Manager Shifts in the hotel when required
    • Analysis of Hotelligence report and client targeting
    • Generation of Account Development Plan and strategies together with commercial director and team in accordance with the hotels and wider regions commercial strategy.
    • Assist with Groups and Conferencing inquiries and work closely with the GC&E department
    • Works to achieve corporate budget per hotels set out budget and targets
    • Maintain effective correspondence between the client base and hotel
    • Constant Review of market analysis to determine client and market needs within the area of operation.

    Finance Manager

    Experience

    • 4-5 years’ experience in General accounting, preferably in a corporate office

    Qualifications

    • University Degree in Accounting or Finance

    Required Skills, Knowledge & Characteristics
    The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and automated accounted systems (preferably Sun System), working knowledge in Excel is an advantage
    • Independent, can work without constant supervision, able to set priorities
    • Self-motivated and dedicated to work
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to exercise independent, judgement and discretion while performing various responsibilities

    • To ensure the adequacy and reliability of financial information for management use
    • Monthly reconciliation of all P&L and Balance sheet accounts
    • To ensure that daily financial transactions are efficiently and effectively accomplished
    • Processing of invoices, expense accounts and payroll
    • Processing of all invoices to hotels, 3rd parties and other affiliations
    • Follow up on overdue receivable payments
    • Cost Centre management
    • Cash and Working Capital, Bank Reconciliation
    • Fully comply with all aspects of Hilton’s Compliance strategy
    • Support in all aspects of reporting and consolidation of financial results on request
    • Prepare and post monthly salary journals

    Personal Assistant to General Manager

    • A Administrative Assistant maintains an efficient and effective Executive Office via the distribution of internal and external mail, independent correspondence and up-to-date registry system.

    What will I be doing?

    A Personal Assistant to the General Manager maintains an efficient and effective Executive Office via the distribution of internal and external mail, independent correspondence and up-to-date registry system. Specifically, a Personal Assistant to the General Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Assist the General Manager in recruitment process of expatriates and coordinate the application of related work visas and permits. Responsible for maintenance of expatriate associates personal files including contract, leave and travel administration to ensure they are kept updated and in strict confidence
    • Compile and submit management reports in a timely manner
    • Attend and record minutes of meetings (ie. OMM and Excom meetings); oversee the accurate translation of OMM minutes for Party A
    • Monitor administration standards to ensure adherence with corporate guidelines
    • Responsible for the effective translation and prompt circulation of government documents to ensure stipulations are complied

    Supervise the day-to-day functions of Secretary; review performance standards of departmental secretaries and recommend or develop/conduct appropriate training/counselling sessions

    • Co-ordinate special reservation requests made through the Executive Office
    • Complete other duties as assigned

    What are we looking for?

    Personal Assistants to the General Manager serving Hilton brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

    • Minimum 5 years relevant experience (preferably in a medium to large size hotel); 3 of which must be in a similar capacity
    • Good understanding of hotel operations, practices and procedures
    • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and office equipment
    • Strong communication and human-relation skills

    It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

    • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred but not required. Additional relevant work experience may substitute for degree
    • Certification: Certification in Secretarial/Administration skills
