    The role

    You will be responsible for the planning, execution, reporting and optimisation of all Digital Media campaigns that underpin the achievement of marketing, product and business KPI’s. This role has the mandate to leverage best practice Digital Media strategy across paid advertising channels including but not limited to, Google Search, Display and UAC. Facebook Lead and App Campaigns. App Store Media (Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Huawei App Gallery) and Affiliate media channels. You will be equipped with the right tools, systems, research and behavioural analytics allowing you to deliver results through a truly data and customer insights led approach

    Requirements

    What will you do?

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute Digital Media Campaigns aligned to the businesses go-to-market strategy.

    • Monitor, analyse and optimise all Digital Media activity based on the performance relative to business plan targets and KPI’s.

    • Use your ROI-driven mentality to decrease our acquisition cost, increase lifetime value and increase the number of quality leads.

    • Plan and implement tactical demand generation marketing programs in support of specific campaigns.

    • Report on key performance indicators, current optimization efforts, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Work with the marketing team to grow and optimize our search and social media campaign portfolio through testing (A/B and/or Multivariate) with ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywording, new target segments

    • Create a detailed blueprint for prioritizing improvements and optimizing channels.

    • Support Sales & Product Marketing teams to help align earned vs paid initiatives to increase ROI.

    • Partner with highly skilled product, support, business, and technology teams to deliver on the business vision.

    • Work within a defined budget, targets and KPI’s.

    • Manage your deliverables through effective project planning and execution.

    • Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices of the industry.

    • Assist the team to ensure that expectations are well understood and communicated.

    Experienced required

    • Min of 3 years in a similar role.

    • A demonstrated record of planning and execution in a similar role.

    Qualifications required

    • Degree or post-graduate qualification in a related discipline.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)

    • Excellent project management skills with solid experience in agency briefing & creative review.

    • Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Trello, Slack etc.

    • Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Firebase & Mixpanel

    The Role:

    We are looking for a strategically minded, results focused individual who sets the agenda at all levels and brings a record of accomplishment. As Head of Performance Marketing, you will embody a growth mindset while having a substantial budget to work with to drive repeatable and scalable results across multiple organic & paid channels.

    Day to day you will be the gatekeeper of all marketing campaigns. You will think about long term strategy, execution and QA of campaigns, help monitor KPIs for program effectiveness, and use the findings for platform enhancements. You will also strive to deliver customer value by using the “Job’s to Be Done” framework across the creative and content development cycle. You will be equipped with the right tools, systems, research, and behavioral analytics allowing you and the team to deliver results through a truly customer insight led brand experience.

    Requirements

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Direct responsibility for performance marketing on paid search, paid social, SEO, Email, In App, Push and other media channels.

    • Identify and develop data-driven, automated marketing tactics that advance customers along their lifecycle; clearly focused on segmentation and deep understanding of customer journeys to drive up lifetime value and hasten payback period

    • Build a comprehensive understanding of all growth levers within the business, and map out new levers, viral loops, tactics, and strategies to unlock growth.

    • Monitor, analyse and optimise CX touchpoint comms, marketing comms and paid advertising creative based on the performance of each.

    • Partner with creative and brand marketing team members to develop strong messaging and storytelling for direct response ads.

    • Drive a holistic view of the customer using techniques to build profiles of consumers that help generate deeper understanding of conversion, retention, and subscription growth.

    • Manage a budget, allocate a proper spending across all channels, continuously working on enhancing the ROI

    • Work closely with our product lead to iterate on audience hypotheses, propositions and creatives and collaborate with product teams to optimize user experiences and conversion funnels

    • Ensure compliance with POPIA, and other regulations on every deliverable

    • Be the consumer champion understanding their needs and be their voice across all customer facing touchpoints.

    • Manage your and your team’s deliverables through effective project planning and execution.
