• BTech or BSC Degree/Diploma in Surveying. 
• Minimum 5 years’ experience Experience in Building and Civil Projects.
• Setting out of toe pegs, slope boards and profiles Measure horizontal and vertical angles using a Total Station.
• Good time management skills Communicate fluently in English.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. 
• Good interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities: As the Concrete Foreman, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating various concrete construction tasks to deliver high-quality results. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Concrete Construction: Leading and managing concrete construction operations, ensuring accurate implementation of engineering plans and specifications.
• Bulk Earthworks: Collaborating with other foremen and construction teams to ensure a seamless integration of concrete works with bulk earthworks activities.
• Mining Environment: Demonstrating expertise in concrete construction projects within the mining sector, considering safety and environmental considerations.
• Stormwater and Pipe Laying: Coordinating concrete works related to stormwater management and pipe laying projects to ensure smooth execution.
• Team Leadership: Providing strong leadership to concrete construction teams, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Quality Assurance: Conducting inspections and quality checks on concrete works to maintain the highest standards.
• Health and Safety: Prioritizing safety on the construction site, enforcing safety protocols, and promoting a safety-conscious work culture.
• Reporting: Providing regular progress updates to the Site Engineer and contributing to project status reports

• We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team. The Junior IT Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to our internal employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a desire to grow and develop in the IT field.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users via various communication channels, including in-person, phone, and email.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, such as computer crashes, network connectivity problems, printer malfunctions, and software configuration errors.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
• Set up and deploy new workstations, ensuring proper installation and connectivity.
• Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights within our IT systems.
• Assist with the maintenance and administration of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Monitor and respond to system alerts and notifications to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary.

Requirements:

• High school Grade 12 or equivalent; relevant certifications or technical training is a plus CompTIA A+or N.
• Previous experience in an IT support role or customer service position is desirable.
• Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking concepts, and software applications.
• Familiarity with common productivity software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, user account management, and security principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
