    Main Job Functions

    Staff Management

    • Ensure repair orders are properly costed and coded.
    • Oversee sublet suppliers to ensure competence, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.

    Security

    • Ensure customer vehicles and belongings are secure.
    • Account for all parts/materials issued from the Parts Department.
    • Secure all tools, documentation, and equipment.

    Administration

    • Monitor and manage job progress through the workshop.
    • Authorise internal parts and consumables requisitions.
    • Approve non-productive time related to vehicle work.
    • Enforce and uphold health and safety procedures.
    • Distribute updated technical manuals and service information.
    • Assign fixed rate units to job cards prior to costing and warranty claims submission.

    Experience and Qualifications

    Skills and knowledge

    • Possess an A grade qualification by means of trade test in motor mechanics.
    • Product knowledge and experience on a brand variety of vehicles.
    • Understanding and knowhow of utilizing diagnostic equipment for diagnosing of vehicles in need of repair.
    • You have the knowledge of current aftersales IT tools, applications and are able to make use of these tools to facilitate the servicing and repairs of vehicles.

    Desired Qualifications and Experience:
