    HR Business Partner - PC Springs

     Roles and Responsibilities

    • Strategic Management.
    • The design, development, implementation, updating and maintaining of best HR practices, including policies, procedures, job profiles and KPI’s
    • Acting as advisor to management teams, give guidance on disciplinary process, performance management, grievances and general people practices.

    Experience requirements

    Parts Planner - Boksburg

    Main Responsibilities

    • Processing movements of items through BPCS OR M3 or other specified ERP system
    • Maintaining accurate records
    • Follow through and manage breakdown orders and parts issuing thereof 
    • Influence sales of parts in the Epiroc Managed Inventory store to the client & assist with expediting of orders
    • Documentation flow in and out of the warehouse
    • Assist with Health & Safety in the store
    • Stock counts / Cycle counts
    • Assist with the management of consumable items
    • Housekeeping and Security
    • Assist to maintain GIT, nothing older than 4 days
    • Assist with the regional distribution of spares and equipment
    • Maintain accurate filing systems of all documents with special emphasis on P.O.D’s.
    • Adhere to and support QA processes.
    • Administer all VMI activities and carry out additional duties as may become necessary to ensure the successful operation of the company processes
    • Will carry out any other function or duty as may be required in terms of “The Way We Do Things”.
    • Attend regular Performance meetings in the morning with designated Mine Official / s.

    Required Skills and Capabilities

    • A good knowledge and understanding of Epiroc products and procedures
    • Supervisory skills related to directing and supervising warehouse staff
    • Computer literacy, in particular the BPCS OR M3 inventory module and Excel
    • Interpersonal skills to work with customers and to work as part of the logistics team
    • Strong self-management character with process ownership
    • Relevant business acumen
    • Ability to understand the complete flow of goods through the warehouse

    Education and experience

    • Trade test or N4
    • Computer literacy
    • Good working knowledge of BPCS or M3
    • Excel, SAP, JDE or equivalent
    • MS Office and Lotus Notes
    • Interpersonal skills to work with customers (external and internal) and suppliers

    Internal Training Manager

    Main Responsibilities

    • Ensure that he/she complies at all times with all Epiroc, and the clients safety standards, and policies and procedures
    • Assist in maintaining all safety aspects in the warehouse and report any unsafe situation or equipment to the Warehouse Administrator or designated person
    • The receiving of goods from the various suppliers i.e. offloading and the opening and unpacking of parcels received, items returned to be checked for damages, accuracy of part no's and quantities, relevant documentation to be completed
    • Verifying the items received against the relevant documents to be correct in quantity and part number
    • Check items received and the general condition of the packaging to be free from any defects.  Report any such defect to the Warehouse Administrator or designated person
    • Ensuring the part number and description is written correctly on the stock requisition
    • Identifying the correct store location of the individual items in BPCS or location list and the storing thereof accurately in the correct location
    • The picking of items as per documents.  Report any deviation found to the Warehouse 
    •  Administrator or designated person
    • Ensure the goods for dispatch are packed in such a way to protect the goods up to the point of delivery
    • Delivery note to be checked for accuracy, part no., description and quantity
    • Assist service technicians/assemblers/foreman at the counter promptly, and ensure that relevant documents are completed accurately
    • Counting of stock as and when required
    • Assist with surplus returns, check picking accuracy, part numbers and quantities
    • Assist with scrapping, physically remove parts from bins
    • Assist in cleaning the warehouse, the areas used for the storage of goods and areas directly outside the warehouse
    • Assist in the day to day running of the warehouse as determined by the Warehouse 
    • Administrator or designated person
    • Operate material handling equipment as and when required
    • Be available for overtime as and when required
    • Be willing to perform the duties required by a store man in an underground environment
    • Know and understand all Work Instructions relevant to warehouse and mine
    • Carry out additional duties as may become necessary, as and when required, or requested

    Competences, skills and experience    

    • Grade 12 with
    • Strong technical background, preferably within mining/construction equipment. 
    • Experience in Planning and Scheduling for field activities.
    • Compilation of SOM and scope of work quotations and job cost analyses.
    • High level of computer literacy, MS Excel, Project, Word, Power Point etc.
    • ERP System knowledge and/or experience.

    Required Skills and Capabilities

    • Warehouse experience essential
    • Computer Literacy
    • BPCS knowledge is an asset
    • Valid driver's license Code 8
    • The ability to interact well with his co-workers, and the ability to function well in a team environment.
