We currently have an opportunity for an ICT Manager with strong Data Management exposure to join out client within the Medical Aid sector, where you will oversee Data Systems, reporting frameworks and policies as well as managing IT related functions. As an IT Specialist with a focus on Data Analytics, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the organizations IT systems whilst leveraging data analysis to drive decision-making and to improve business outcomes. The role combines technical expertise in IT infrastructure, operations, software management, governance frameworks with analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, ensuring efficient operations and to contribute towards strategic insights.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop technology roadmaps, implement strategies and transformation plans whilst focusing on digital technologies.
Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective technology solutions.
Oversee planning, implementation and monitoring of IT projects and services.
Manage vendor and service provider requirements.
Design scalable, efficient and secure data management systems.
Develop and support reporting processes whilst identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
Interpret Data, perform complex analysis and conducting in-dept data analysis using advanced statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns and insights.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree (IT / Engineering or related field)
5+ years’ experience in Data Analysis
5+ years’ experience as an ICT Specialist
2+ years’ experience in Project Management
Data Analytical tools (Tableau, Power BI or SQL)
Database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience with IT Infrastructure and security best practices
