    • Complex interfaces with contractors and suppliers also exits.

    ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • Support Demin water supply through 8 Demin water trains.  Support steam production on 18 waste heat boilers.  Support auxiliary equipment maintenance support on the engine auxiliary system.
    •  Install, repair, and maintain pipelines, machinery, and associated plant and ancillary equipment allied with mechanical processes. Ensure mechanical integrity of equipment, by means of actioning work orders.  Carry out routine tasks such as cleaning, oiling, and greasing, according to schedule.

    ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To comply with Mines and Works Act, by rendering a service of issuing cap lamps, rescue packs and testers. Equipment issued must meet the minimum operating requirements, also responsible for change house logistics like the supply of soap, visitor PPE and allocation and control of lockers and lamps for every underground employee. The Lampsman also controls the shifts of the cage operators.
