    • Under direct supervision, performs assignments of actuarial-related duties such as preparing, performing and analysing actuarial research and audits. Other duties include collecting data from various databases and performing standard mathematical calculations.

The Sanlam Actuarial Training Programme starts off with an unofficial ‘internship’ that lets you familiarise yourself with the inner workings of Sanlam by getting to know its products and systems. Once you have a good grasp of this, you will be exposed to more technical positions. We will help you develop your analytical abilities in order to further develop your actuarial skills.

    Telecommunications: Services Co-ordinator

    Who are we?

    • Sanlam Group Technology is responsible for the provision of a digitally enabled technology service as a group COE, drive business and transformation and provide group-wide digital and data architecture. We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam.

    What will you do?

    • Service management of the mobile and fixed line services and processing of billing information provided by the network operators.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • The role is accountable for all the service management activities in providing the SGT clients remote and fixed line connectivity. 

    The required outputs for this role are:

    Services and Request Management
    –    Provide clients with support for incidents and request within SLA
    –    Proactive management of mobile data utilisation within defined thresholds
    –    Ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained of the required equipment 
    –    Record accurate and complete documentation within the defined compliance legislation
    –     Liaise with clients, service providers and network operators for the delivery of the requisite services and tasks
    –    Provide accurate reporting (on client request) of mobile data usage according to the defined audit guidelines

    Reporting
    –    Contribute to the weekly/monthly reporting on  outsource vendors adherence  to the SLAs and service contracts; service measurement and management
    –    Maintain an accurate inventory of the telecommunications equipment held in stores 
    –    Proactive forecasting and ordering of defined infrastructure

    Net Developer (CPT & GT)

    Overall purpose of the role

    • Working mainly within Netcentric Application Environment designs, codes, tests, debugs and corrects programs in development in Netcentric (internet, intranet, extranet) environments. May also provide support and maintenance of computer systems.  Produces complex program specifications and implements system enhancements. Works within a strict framework of programming standards and may give input into programming standards and applied Web and Embedded Technologies. Delivering results with IT development language and types such as .Net and C#.

    Social Media Manager

    What will you do:

    • Liaising with the stakeholder regarding their initiatives and account managing the design and communications of digital assets to execute on their brief
    • Brief in campaigns and liaise with outsourced agencies re execution of strategy

    What will you do?
    This is an administrative support position that reports directly to the Branch Manager. The role renders general administration to all in the branch, with a specific focus on client communication and loading and redirecting work flow to the Sales Support
