    Manager - Mineral Asset Valuator

    Your key responsibilities

    The role is client facing and requires multi-commodity experience. In the role the applicant will be required to execute on proposals, project management and timeous invoicing. The role may require travel from time-to-time to remote locations.

    The role is suitable to a person who has gained mineral asset valuation and consulting and has begun to develop competence in the Mineral Reserve estimation process.

    Skills and attributes for success

    • Open pit and/or Underground related experience would be regarded as a MUST.
    • Mineral asset valuation and evaluation experience is required
    • Ability to utilise your expertise to conduct a full range of mining engineering functions
    • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the mining value-chain.

    BI Lead Senior Manager (BW, BI and SAC)

    Your key responsibilities

    As a Senior Manager, you work with client teams and EY teams to arrive at an enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs. The role will also be required to participate in client and EY internal engagements, provide leadership, oversight and mentorship for junior team members, and support building out the reporting & analytics practice. You will also influence projects, vendors and/or SIs to ensure they are aligned with our approved methods and delivery standards.     Transaction Strategy and Execution - Manager

    Responsibilities

     As a Manager within the TSE team, you would be required to:

    • Manage client engagement teams in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value.

    Fraud Investigation Services - Assistant Manager 1

    Your key responsibilities

    • Help clients to work through complex issues of fraud, regulatory compliance and business disputes.
    • Work on client engagement teams in carrying out both reactive and proactive forensic analysis of large amounts of structured and unstructured data involving a wide range of database management software, statistical and predictive machine learning software, and link analysis and data visualization software.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    You’ll be heavily involved at all stages of the project life cycle, making this a high-profile opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities and diversify your skills and experience.     Job Purpose

    Responsible for ensuring all benefits transactions that impact employee Core HR and payroll data is accurately captured. Processing all benefits for each employee end to end, including new joiners, changes and separations.

    Senior Business Engineer (Regulatory & Compliance)

    We are currently seeking highly motivated people for our Consulting practice, which is a leading provider of services to the banking and insurance sector as well as large corporates in other industries. You will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and contribute to the growth of our team. Bringing experience and insight on one or more disciplines, you will shape solutions to a range of client challenges in risk management and finance IT for the Banking industry. Working in this creative environment, you will be given the opportunity to take responsibility and work on challenging projects for major clients as well as major financial institutions abroad.

    Your key responsibilities

    The Regulatory and Compliance Business Engineer will take a leading role in the financial services competency, focusing on the regulatory and compliance requirements of the Banking, Lending and Payments fields. They will be responsible for both sales and delivery of regulatory/compliance related projects. This includes sales and pre-sales activities of opportunity identification, pre-sales presentation and proposal writing and submission. They will be responsible for the quality of client interaction including thought leadership and guidance on industry/regulatory best practice, while also playing a role in the delivery of the required solution through interaction with the assigned implementation team. They will follow project standards within established timeframes and at defined quality levels, and ensure projects are completed according to schedule and client specifications. This position is client-facing and requires travel to the client site as the project warrants. The work performed is typically moderately complex.

    To qualify for the role, you must have

    • Minimum Honours degree in Legal, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field
    • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience focused on regulatory and compliance topics within the financial services domain, through a financial institution, regulatory authority or an industry software vendor company.
    • Proven industry relevant track record of in-depth knowledge of financial services regulatory and compliance domain, associated standards, and practices.
    • Client facing service experience required. Engagement across stakeholders and ability to run information gathering and sharing sessions
    • Experience with various project management disciplines preferred
    • Experience with implementation of regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services programs (implementations, replacements, modernisations) at various levels

    A working knowledge of domestic and international financial services regulatory and compliance acts, models and directives including:

    • The Banks Act
    • The Co-operative Banks Act
    • The Mutual Banks Act
    • South African Reserve Banks Act
    • FSR Act
    • National Credit Act
    • POPIA
    • GDPR
    • AML
    • KYC
    • Business Writing Skills (business cases, proposals)
    • Presentation and Facilitation Skills
    • System Development Life Cycle (Waterfall, Agile)
    • Quality Assurance and Risk Management

    Ideally, you’ll also have

    • Experience with financial services domain software platforms and vendors providing regulatory and compliance capabilities
    • Experience in multiple financial services sectors across Banking, Insurance, Payments, Lending, etc.
    • Understanding of international and local regulatory & compliance acts
    • Global experience with financial services domain clients, relevant software vendors and/or consultancy capabilities related to regulatory and compliance topics
    • Membership/affiliation to relevant regulatory bodies
    • Certification in banking domain software technology platform(s)
    • Certification in agile principles
    • Certification in cloud and related technologies
    • Certification in design thinking principles
