MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• NQF 8 Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration/Engineering/Transport Management/Economics

EXPERIENCE:

• 15 years’ strategy or business development experience within the passenger transport, rail logistics or related infrastructure sector of which 5 years should be at executive level.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)

• Facilitate the development and review of the organization’s strategy and business plans
• Explore new business opportunities, including expanding passenger services, retention and expansion of the customer base, entering new geographical markets, and developing innovative service offerings.
• Management of stakeholder relationships
• Evaluate and lead mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, identifying potential targets for acquisition or partnership to enhance market presence or operational capabilities
• Reporting and advisory services.

• Extensive experience in leading major transformation within an organization
• Extensive Background in either Operations and/or Business management

• Develop the Operations strategy and framework
• Oversee and direct Group Operations
• Management of stakeholder relationships
• Direct and oversee Operations governance, compliance, and risk management
• Management of organizational resources.
