    Product Marketing Manager (E-commerce)

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a product marketing role 
    • Collaborate skills - as a product marketing manager you will have to collaborate with multiple teams across the business. This will often include the sales and marketing department, the engineering department, product management, press and PR and executives
    • Communication skills - the ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will frequently have to present new products and write engaging copy, telling the ‘story’ of products, for various marketing channels
    • Research skills - a crucial part of being a product marketing manager is gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. Analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well acquainted with these techniques. 
    • Experience working in SaaS business a bonus 


    Responsibilities:

    • Build on product messaging that sets our products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point 
    • Communicate the vision and value of new products to the onboarding, customer success and sales team - Develop sales and customer success enablement tools that facilitate the selling process and adoption and usage of the product and features 
    • Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products which involve several different departments - Brief the press and PR teams about new products 
    • Take part in presentations 
    • Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data 
    • Use market research data to establish and validate product pricing 
    • Create content such as feature support guides, case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts - Speak and present about products to both external and internal audiences 
    • Test new goods and products 
    • Research competitor offerings

    Social Media Account Manager (Digital Marketing/Advertising Industry)

    Our Client,an all-inclusive digital marketing agency that focuses on creating and implementing integrated strategies while breaking the mould of the traditional ‘agency & client’ relationship, is currently looking for a Social Media Account Manager, for their Office in Cape Town.

    They operate in South Africa and across various international markets giving them the benefit of a global affiliation while maintaining local independence. 

    Some specialised services include: 

    •  Paid Media: Search, Display, Programmatic, Social 
    •  Earned Media: SEO, Content Creation, and Content Marketing 
    •  Media Buying: Buying advertising space on leading media properties 

    As the Social Media Account Manager, you will be responsible for all digital media implementation across their portfolio of clients. You will be required to compile media plans, plan budgets, liaise with Media Owners, and manage the entire campaign process from end-to-end. You'll require strong digital channel implementation experience and should be able to execute and troubleshoot where required.

    Requirements

    • 3+ years Campaign management experience (e.g. advertising/media), digital marketing experience and accounts/stakeholder management. 
    • Basic knowledge of Display & Video 360, Social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), YouTube, Premium Display
    • Strong understanding & experience of Search Ads 360 & Google Ads 
    • Knowledge and experience with WordPress and other CMS’s 
    • Ability to perform an in depth audit of at least one channel and give recommendations to the campaign managers 
    • Strong analytical skills to provide actionable insights & recommendations into live / potentially new campaign performance to the client or senior management 
    • Have a good understanding of GA and create basic reports in Google Data Studio. 
    • A good understanding of the various digital channels to assist clients with strategies.
    • Making use of in-depth knowledge of paid media principles, how the markets operate and advance analytics skills to educate/up-skill clients and internal teams  
    • Excellent written communication skills in order to compose emails/briefs/status meetings in a simple but professional manner and communicate to client/internal without having to use jargons. 
    • Excellent presentation skills using google slides or other presentation tools. Basic Knowledge of HTML 
    • All Google certifications must be up to date. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Presenting the latest trends in the industry to the client when needed. 
    • Understanding clients primary and secondary business objectives. Able to translate these into measurable KPIs for both client and internal use. 
    • End-to-end campaign management including, but not limited to, implementation planning, budget planning, cross-channel implementation, campaign optimisation, and reporting with insights 
    • Attend status meetings with the account manager and the client. 
    • Working closely with the Account Managers to ensure client briefs are executed effectively and efficiently in order to drive results 
    • Ensuring day-to-day operational delivery of paid media campaigns
    • Assisting with new pitches and RFPs. 
    • Competitor analysis and keyword research. 
    • Keep abreast with new trends in digital technology 
    • Assisting the team with troubleshooting across various channels/platforms 
    • Able to compile an in-depth competitor analysis
    • Drafting strategies that tie in with other channels to drive business goals. 
    • Keep abreast of any developments in the Search, Social & Display market

    • Google Search & Google Shopping (SA360 experience beneficial)
    • Paid Social Media through FB Business Manager
    • Display & Video 360 (beneficial)
    • Managing paid advertising budgets optimally to achieve business KPI’s
    • Assist business departments with paid advertising requirements, reporting, analysis and strategies
    • Help other business departments understand and how best to implement their digital advertising requests.
    • Keep up to date with changes in the digital industry and setting up tests to implement and determine the viability of these new changes on our internal paid advertising.
