The Role
People Operations (PepOps) at MFS Africa encompasses human resources, wellness, employee experience, learning and development, health and safety, logistics and facilities for 500 people in over 20 countries. We are recruiting a Global Coordinator to join the PepOps team who will be responsible for managing the PepOps global team logistics and calendars, as well as coordinating company events, HSE and audit compliance for people, facilities, and activities. As a core member of the PepOps team, the Global Coordinator will report to the Chief People Officer and work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure safety, simplicity, efficacy, and HSE compliance in people operations at MFS Africa.
We are seeking candidates with 2-3 years of experience managing people, coordinating logistics, and facilitating events. The successful candidate must be passionate about creating safe and delightful experiences that nurture people, possess exceptional communication skills, high EQ, creative problem solving, strong organization skills, and flexibility.
Strong location preference is one of our offices, however, this may be negotiable within time zone. Some travel will be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaise with travel providers to coordinate team travel
Maintain up-to-date team calendars
Facilitate clear, relevant communication with multiple stakeholders about PepOps activities and initiatives
Document and report on adherence to HSE processes and practices at company offices and events
Coordinate and QC office HSE activities with location-specific facilities staff, and support staff growth and development
Coordinate PepOps-led global events including internal conferences, leadership team intensives, academy sessions, immersion weeks, and team buildings in collaboration with key stakeholders and suppliers
Promote and model MFS Africa’s core values to simplify, care, and be revolutionary
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to perform other duties and tasks as needed in collaboration with the CPO and the rest of the PepOps team
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
2+ years' work experience in logistics, project coordination, event management, hospitality, or another relevant field
3 verifiable references (at least one personal and one professional)
Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-moving and complex environment
Experience working in fin/tech a plus
French language competency a plus

The Role
We are recruiting a Director of Organizational Effectiveness (DOE) to join the people operations (PepOps) team cultivating our diverse global talent pool. As a core member of the PepOps team, this individual will work closely with the Chief People Officer to execute the PepOps strategy and deliver an outstanding performance management practice across the group.
We are seeking candidates with 5-7 years of experience working at a senior level with people, operations, and performance management systems. The successful candidate will have extensive visibility across the business and ways of working in the first two years. They will be comfortable strategizing collaboratively and executing independently while cultivating buy-in from internal and external stakeholders. This is a growth role, intended to develop senior leadership talent with deep knowledge of the business and an internal, flexible, cross-departmental promotion track.
Strong location preference is one of our offices, however, this may be negotiable within time zone.

Responsibilities
Systematically define, model, measure, analyze, and benchmark people performance metrics
Drive established performance management annual cycle (adaptive management of ongoing process) measuring, analyzing, and reporting on PepOps metrics for internal and external stakeholders
Conduct performance management self-audit, including KPI mapping, gap analysis, and alignment
Identify, simplify, and communicate critical dependencies within the business to map and support effective SLAs
Remuneration and pay scale benchmarking to industry, including defining a rigorous methodology accounting for market variability
Execute and report independently on cross functional initiatives
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to perform other duties as needed in collaboration with the Chief People Officer

The Role
We are recruiting a People Operations Specialist to join the People Operations (PepOps) Team who will work hand in hand with the People Operations Manager to build our organizational capacity and execute on global people operations systems and processes, ensuring these run seamlessly and ultimately meet the needs of our people. As a core member of the PepOps Team, the PepOps Specialist will report to the PepOps Manager and work closely with relevant stakeholders in the PepOps team and other departments.
We are seeking candidates with at least 5 years of experience working within People Operations/ Human Resources in the South African context. The successful candidate must have deep expertise in the various aspects of human resources (across the employee life cycle), have a passion for implementing best in class people practices and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Location is our offices in Johannesburg, South Africa.
