    Operational Integration Consultant

    Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

    Responsibilities Include

    • Expertise - Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn how to leverage their existing investment in operational capability and tooling.
    • Solutions - Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers. This includes participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, proposing and delivering packaged offerings, and delivering custom solution engagements, specifically focused on ITSM tooling and integration.
    • Delivery - Engagements include short on-site projects proving the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services. Engagements will include integration and adaption of existing enterprise operations monitoring, and orchestration systems to extend an enterprise’s capabilities into AWS cloud services.
    • Insights - Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps. Share real world implementation challenges and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services. Contribute to best practice in the form of whitepapers and playbooks.
    • Partnering – Work with new vendors to help them become MSPs and enable and upskill existing partners.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience building sophisticated and automated operational management platforms in a Cloud or On-Premises environment, particularly building service integration capabilities between multiple platforms
    • Qualified in ITIL, TOGAF or similar ITSM frameworks, particularly focused on Service Operations or Service Transition
    • Highly technical and analytical, possessing significant IT implementation and operations experience
    • Deep hands-on experience working on the design, development and deployment of an enterprise supporting systems at a global scale
    • Extended travel to customer locations may be required to sell and deliver professional services as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

    • AWS Experience
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
    • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering background preferred; Masters degree desired
    • Integration of AWS cloud management services (e.g. CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM) with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc
    • Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud and on-premises environment
    • Building and maintaining run-book style automation or orchestration platforms in global, distributed Enterprise IT environments
    • Deploying and managing operations and monitoring tools such as MS System Center, HP OpenView, BMC, Tivoli, Nagios, SiteScope, etc.
    • Previous experience working with CMDB and change management solutions such as Remedy, Atrium, ServiceNow, CA etc
    • Previous experience assessing, optimizing, managing, automating enterprise IT service management processes
    • Previous experience implementing and managing Enterprise SIEMs and/or Operational Data Warehouse systems where logs, alerts, event info etc are forwarded to, processed and stored
    • Experience implementing and managing revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Team Foundation Server, Perforce etc.)
    • Management of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) servers such as Jenkins, Atlassian Dev Tools and TeamCity
    • Implementation of showback and chargeback systems in large enterprise IT environments, including on-going cost optimization corrective actions
    • Integration and federation of identity and access management systems such as Active Directory, including management (IAM) and administration of role based, fine grained resource controls

    Senior Consultant, SAP

    Responsibilities Include

    • As Senior Consultant you will lead complex projects with autonomy and discretion, often involving multiple Amazon and customer teams.
    • You will work with customers and partners, leading them through planning, prioritization and delivery of complex transformation initiatives, while collaborating with relevant Sales and Service Teams. You will design and deliver solutions that solve for new levels of complexity, scale and performance, and in turn, enable breakthrough innovations. You will create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices and artifacts that deliver prescriptive guidance to customers, and publish and present them in large forums and across various media platforms. You will guide customers’ technical architecture and investments, maximizing alignment with the AWS platform, and ease of adoption as new services and products become available.
    • You will help customers define target business outcomes and related work streams, and lead the subsequent projects and initiatives to consistently exceed these goals.

    • Experience with SAP Basis / NetWeaver Administration
    • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries
    • Experience with SAP applications and security

    • Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery
    • Experience in SAP High Availability architecture

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Current hands-on implementation experience required
    • Experience in a Chief Architect role or similar
    • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or Math
    • Prior experience in a technical role within a services organization
    • Experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure
    • Prior success in automating a real-world production environment
    • Scripting skills, i.e., Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.
    • Familiarity with any monitoring tools like Nagios, Incinga, SiteScope, etc.
    • Experience with automated testing tools (ie. HP Loadrunner)

    • Must have a good understanding of Education industry trends and government procurement
    • Substantial technology related sales, business development, and/or sales engineering/consulting experience
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills; fluent in English

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Significant technology related sales or business development experience in Education.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills, and be both technical and analytical and possess solid experience in business development or account management within Education (EdTech, K-12, Post-Secondary, Publishers) market segments.
    • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
    • SaaS/Cloud experience.
