    NCA Marketing Manager – SSB

    Job Description 

    The purpose of this role is to develop the end to end customer marketing strategy for a segment and execute programs both to acquire new customers and ensure retention and value growth of our existing customer base. Reporting to the Regional Customer Marketing Manager, they are directly responsible for ensuring alignment and execution of marketing activities across the segment and for delivering maximum ROI. This role is required to interlock with Partner Marketing to ensure alignment of customer marketing strategy through depth and breadth activation.

    Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership

    • Plan and execute the marketing strategy for a segment across a number of tactics including digital, events, content, social, webinars, offline marketing, customer references – both directly and through/with Partners, Accountants and Alliances
    • To work closely with Marketing leadership and sales stakeholders to build and communicate the marketing strategy and to align the tactics to the sales objectives
    • Closely align with partner marketing team to ensure all programs align to our depth and breadth strategy
    • To build and own the pipeline for a segments sales team and to ensure an adequate pipeline coverage
    • Budget management and allocation for marketing activities driven by data and ROI
    • To prepare detailed campaign plans, data briefs, and to own and enforce them across internal and external agencies with confidence, clarity, and strong alignment with business goals
    • To proactively co-ordinate marketing campaigns across all elements of the marketing mix and across any involved stakeholders
    • Manage and input into regional programs spanning cross segment when required, including referral campaigns, customer reference programs and regional eventsHave a deep understanding of the segment target persona and work with Product marketing to refine this for use in demand generation campaigns
    • Monitor, analyse and represent campaign results to the business with continuous optimisation from both data and feedback from internal stakeholders
    • Liaise and share best practice and knowledge, be the ‘expert’ in marketing communications to others in the business, supporting the commercial success of our solutions and products
    • Be the business partner to the segment sales team and to establish a connected strategy and relationship that showcases results from marketing and establishes a process to drive marketing campaigns through the business
    • Leverage and integrate global content into local campaigns where appropriate
    • Competent at writing, proofing and editing copy for all forms of communication
    • Work with digital teams to ensure web content is kept up to date, fully localised and relevant to the enterprise audience
    • Act as a champion and guardian of Sage’s values and brand identity, ensuring messaging, positioning, tone of voice, visual identity is consistent and in line with the global brand guidelines, across all channels and in all activities
    • Manage campaigns across PR / Social Media / Content teams to help promote Sage’s solutions and services.
    • Ensure consistency and enforce high quality standards across all communications as a result of advanced and accurate proofing skills, in line with the local and global internal approvals process Skills, know-how and experience Must haves:
    • Can work in a global/regional organisation structure, understands the importance of global consistency and local delivery, always has One Sage in mind

    Partner Marketing Manager - Distribution & ISV

    Job Description

     The purpose of this role is to ensure successful performance of marketing programs through and with Value Added Distributors (VADs) and Independent Software Venders (ISVs). Reporting to the Regional Partner Marketing Manager, they are directly responsible for the strategy and execution of depth and breadth marketing activities through VADs and ISVs. The Partner Marketing Manager represents the voice of ISVs, VADs and the local partner eco-system linked to them, driving programs spanning across all the marketing focus areas of: New Customer Acquisition, Customer Success and Retention.

    Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership

    • Work with the Regional Marketing teams to build a single consolidated AME VAD/Partner Marketing Plan in order to ensure that there is transparency and interlock of regional and local activities to support the business and revenue objectives
    • Ensure successful creation launch and adoption of the Sage Distributor and ISV led marketing Programs across the region.
    • Ensure deep integration with the business and our eco-system, both in the development of their marketing plan and the tracking and reporting on the execution thereof
    • Drive execution against the plan and ensure measurement and tracking is in place to evaluate and optimise all activities
    • Define and support the process of localising and implement recruitment campaigns and partner campaigns to support achievement of recruitment targets and objectives
    • Support in the develop data-driven decision-making culture
    • Deliver relevant budgetary reporting as necessary and in line with regional guidelines
    • Working within the matrix organisation – form relationships across the team and the business to get things done
    • Have a deep understanding of the Sage partner portfolio persona and work with PA & A team to refine this for use in our partner campaigns

    Intercompany Analyst

    Job Description

     As part of the new Global Finance Organisation, a Finance Operations function is being established to manage transactional processing services across the International regional covering Purchase to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), and Record to Report (R2R).
    This full-time role is within the R2R teams in the International Finance Operations function. The role will work on reconciling intercompany transactions ensuring they meets the current and future needs of the business and are reflecting the underlying business terms and Sage policies. The role participates in team’s continuous improvement initiatives.
    Based in Johannesburg, the successful candidate will have experience in performing an Intercompany Analyst role in Finance Operations.

    Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership

    • Reconciliation of the Intercompany accounts.
    • Process related manual journals and leverage off the automated Intercompany functionality on X3.
    • Intercompany monthly analysis and reporting.
    • Resolve reconciling items on a timeous basis.
    • Plan and prioritise own workload and ensure deadlines are achieved.
    • Being involved in learning and development activities, including setting a personal development plan.
    • Adopt the service culture and customer service orientation in the team.
    • Work with other teams in finance and the business to resolve issues.
    • Input to continuous improvement initiatives with the team and leading initiatives around Intercompany transactions.
    • Operating within Sage internal compliance guidance.

    Skills, Know-how And Experience
    Must have at least 3 years’ experience in:

    • Operational accounting and reporting experience, preferably in a technology environment.
    • Experience in a service-oriented culture including management of SLAs.
    • Experience in working in a changing environment.
    • Intermediate or advanced Excel experience
    • Preferably ERP experience.
    • Preferably CRM experience.

    Technical / Professional Qualifications

    • ACA, ACCA, CIMA part or fully qualified preferable
