    Security Officer

      DUTIES

    • Monitoring and patrolling property, monitoring equipment, reservoirs, inspecting premises;
    • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities;
    • Completes site inspection reports by recording observation, information and occurrences;
    • Submits monthly reports in the prescribed formats;
    • Maintain environment by monitoring equipment controls ;
    • Maintain organisation’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements;
    • Oversee the day-to-day security operations for all reservoirs at all sites;
    • Observe and monitor access and movement in high risk areas in order to detect and record suspicious behaviour or incidents;
    • Record and relay requests or complaints to appropriate channels or supervisors;
    • Perform tasks as assigned by the supervisors;
    • Coordinate security for all special projects , events and ministerial engagements;
    • Undertake related assignments in connection with security control programmes and;
    • Attend monthly service provider contract performance meetings with the Service Provider. 

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • A valid Grade 12 Certificate
    • Security Management, and a Grade A security certificate will be an added advantage
    • Valid Driver's license
    • Competency certificate / Firearm License
    • Selection process will include vetting and security clearance

    Description

    Description

    • Assist HR Officer in co-ordinating specific Human Resources administrative sequences and attend to general applications and interventions associated with the functionality in order to ensure adequate guidance and support is made available to employees with respect to comprehending and understanding organisational legislative procedures related to their employment and leave management;

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinate investment of funds by liaising with different banks to request investment quotations and obtaining approval to invest funds.
    • Coordinate cash management activities by processing inter-bank transfer of funds.
    • Processing bank and/or cash related financial transactions into Munsoft financial system.
    • Maintaining and disbursing petty cash.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Installing and testing new software and evaluate the functionality of the software.

    Technical Planner

    Description

    • To provide support to the Planning and IDP section and assist in planning, collecting and rearranging of various data.
    • Undertaking Development Planning related activities, by: Collecting and preparing data for various planning projects.
    • Scheduling of planning meetings and site visits.

    • Coordinating Integrated Development Planning by, assisting in the annual review process of the Integrated Development Plans;

    • Office administration of the Joint Municipal Planning Tribunal.
    • Assisting the public and other stakeholders with planning/land use queries and compliance with legislation and policy.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Town and Regional Planning
    • A valid Code B driver’s license
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in similar work
    • Registration with the statutory body established under the Planning Profession Act, 2002
