A career opportunity has arisen in the Maintenace Department - Premier Milling - Vereeniging. This position is responsible for maintaining sufficient maintenance stocks in accordance with maintenance site requirements and standards
Qualification Requirements
• Matric / Grade 12
Experience Requirements
• 2 – 3 years milling industry experience
• 3 – 5 years’ experience as a buyer
• Knowledge of mechanical / electrical would be an advantage
If in position of a trade qualification it will be an added advantage.
Key Outputs
• Manage all aspects of purchasing and distribution while considering cost effective solutions.
• Communicate with the client, foster a team atmosphere, and report on progress.
• Assess purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Receive price quotes from vendors, compare quotes against requirements, the budget, and purchase orders.
• Record orders on C Works and expedite delivery of components/Items ordered.
• Report to Invocom once a week the status of orders and maintenance expenditure within budget.
• Do monthly stocktake with the storeman and report deviations on report and capture in C Works.

This position is responsible for:
• 100% accurate driver reconciliation
• Ensuring that all POD’s returned are valid and marked off the system
• Ensuring all customer claims are processed accurately and on time
• Proper route stock control
• Participation in invocoms
• Allocation of cash received to the relevant driver

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years in Sales operational environment - including experience of informal trade in South Africa

• To manage the performance of his/her direct reports through preparation and facilitation of weekly site bakery sales team Invocoms.
• To contract, review, coach and mentor team for improved performance and continuous development.
• To support compliance to internal process, practice and SOP’s via monthly and quarterly auditing, collation and presentation of sales pack info to the
relevant managers.
• To schedule and coordinate the on-site sales pack audit and present findings to the regional sales manager and relevant bakery/depot managers to
agree corrective action and continuous improvement
• To manage and motivate high performance teams through the decisive management of non- performance and quick recognition of good performance
in line with company process and procedures and provide training, coaching and mentoring as needed
• To manage, maintain and improve operational KPI’s and cost efficiency of sales by minimizing cost to service without jeopardizing customer service.
• To manage third party suppliers or outsourced service providers to ensure good execution and customer services to our customers.
