    Administrative Officer 2 (Legal Services)

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Minimum 4 year’s relevant experience within a Municipal or Magistrates Court environment, of which a minimum of 3 years must be relevant supervisory experience
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications
    • Valid driver’s licence

    Key Performance Areas

    • Co-ordinating of procedures, systems and controls within the Municipal Court
    • Liaising with internal and external role players with regard to all daily administrative and operational matters within the specific Court
    • Working knowledge of the City’s Administrative and Human Resource Procedures and Policies
    • Working knowledge of the City’s Cash Management Policies and Procedures
    • Ensure Audit compliance on all operational requirements
    • Co-ordinate training of support staff on new and changed policies and systems
    • Submit monthly statistics with regard to court loading and cash receipting
    • Drawing up of monthly reports relating to complaints handling
    • Supervising of staff and conducting performance assessments of all staff, including training assessments, and all HR related issues

    Principal Professional Officer- Transport Economist

    Requirements

    • B degree/B Tech or Advanced Diploma in Transport Economics
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience including modelling, pricing strategies, market survey designs, econometric modelling, transport cost and benefit analysis and travel demand management, planning and implementation
    • Experience in working in local government contexts will be an advantage
    • Valid driver’s license

    Requirements

    • Appropriate professional/technical degree and project management qualification.
    • A minimum of eight (8) years’ post qualification experience in a project management environment and minimum of five (5) years’ senior managerial experience.
    • A thorough understanding or knowledge of legislative framework related to local government context.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma in Built environment
    • Qualification in Project Management is advantageous

    Senior Professional Valuer (Property Transactions)

    Requirements

    • A first degree in Property Studies / BTech or ND+ Advanced Diploma in Real Estate/Property Valuation.
    • At least 5-8 years’ relevant experience including 4-5 years’ appropriate property valuation experience.
    • Valid registration as per section 20 (2) (a) of the Property Valuers Act, 2000 as a Professional Valuer or Professional Associate Valuer without restrictions
    • Computer literacy (MS Office packages & Excel).

    Requirements

    • A BSc or BEng in Industrial Engineering Bsc Light current Electrical engineering.
    • Eligibility to be registered as an engineer with ECSA is a prerequisite.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a relevant BSC Electronics/ Bsc Light current Electrical engineering.
    • Eligibility to be registered as an engineer with ECSA is a prerequisite.
