    Executive Head: Sales and Systems Operations

    Role Purpose

    • Defines and ensures implementation of the Vodacom Business Sales Operations strategy, with particular focus on Base allocation/segmentation, Commissions, Target setting, Performance Reporting, Change Management, Process Optimisation and Risk Management

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Base allocation and segmentation management: Ensure the accurate allocation of all Vodacom Business customer accounts to the appropriate segment, vertical and account manager, to enable accurate commissions and performance reporting. Drive the development of automation of segmentation and allocation processes, within the appropriate governance frameworks.
    • Commissions policy and operations management: Define appropriate Vodacom Business policies for both staff and partner channel in collaboration with Sales team, to drive performance and deliver business outcomes, whilst managing associated risks. Ensure the seamless execution of policies through accurate commissions payments and query management. Additionally own fuel card and e-tag management across Vodacom South Africa.
    • Sales performance reporting and target setting: Provide accurate monthly Sales performance reporting, with value added insights on business opportunities and risks. Calculate annual sales targets in collaboration with Finance and Sales ME’s at account level to enable over-all annual sales target performance at a portfolio level.
    • Digital transformation change management: Support the successful implementation of Vodacom Business’ Digital Transformation programme through effective change management, including: analysing potential business impact through process analytics, empowering change champions through the business, development of appropriate training materials/sessions and providing a 1st line business support desk to manage and route business queries to product owners and IT support structures.
    • Vodacom Business Risk Management: Identify business risks within Commercial Management and Vodacom Business and develop an appropriate risk register for tracking purposes. Work with relevant business stakeholders to develop mitigation plans and support the execution thereof.
    • Performing through People: Supports and enables the team to succeed through contextual use of appropriate leadership styles.
    • Managing Stakeholders: Represent commercial management during weekly sales cadence sessions and alert Commercial Management leadership team of issues raised.  Management of stakeholders to ensure seamless interactions between Commercial Management and other Vodacom Business functions. Builds collaborative internal and external partnerships for market success.
    • Putting Customers first: Analyses Commercial Management processes to identify potential customer impacts and work with relevant stakeholders to improve/remedy experience pain points and create customer “wow” moments.
       

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • B Degree/Equivalent required 
    • Postgraduate qualifications/MBA desired
    • 10 years+ experience in the telecommunications or related environments e.g. financial services
    • 5 years+ experience in managing high performance teams
    • Previous experience in Sales Operations environments
    • Track record of digital transformation / change manage success
    • Ability to reduce administrative expenses through automation and process innovation
    • Ability to build relationships internally and externally

    Specialist Search Marketing

    Role Purpose

    • The role is accountable for growing and driving customer engagement across all relevant digital platforms, including customer adoption of digital sales and self-service channels. The role will provide clear direction for paid search across the whole Vodacom business, working in close coordination with the Brand, Segment and Digital Channel squads. Outputs include driving paid search strategies and plans to deliver on overall brand and commercial goals within the various business units. The function plays a primary role in driving the optimisation of the overall behavioural measurement score (BMS) for brand consideration and digital channel experience (TNPS), as well as revenue generated through digital channels and associated cost savings.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Take full end-to-end responsibility of PPC, with a clear focus on paid search and related products such as Google Shopping
    • Lead PPC planning, including account and keyword strategies, KPIs and targets
    • Monitor and optimise on Adobe Audience Manager (DMP) segments to drive search performance and optimisation
    • Continuously monitor performance and identify and analyse deviating patterns to generate insights for optimisation
    • Be the key responsible and single point of contact for all paid search topics to both Vodacom colleagues and external partners
    • Drive breakthrough search marketing innovation 
       

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • 3 year Business related Degree or National Diploma 
    • Minimum of 3 to 5yrs relevant experience essential in:
    • Understanding of PPC technology, e.g. product feeds or account automation tools
    • Driving commercial & operational targets for the search marketing domain – sales, revenue, profitability, user experience quality measures, adoption of the products and services

    Executive Head: SME and Digital Channels

    Role Purpose

    • Lead, direct, co-ordinate and manage the end to end SME Ecosystem for Vodacom with a focus on SME as a customer, merchant and supplier. Lead and Champion the SME Strategy for Vodacom Business. Lead and direct all aspects of all SME product strategies incorportaing GTM strategies. Develop and customise and innovate products tailored for the SME market incorporating all segments / disciplines across Vodacom (eg, Financial Services, Cloud, Fixed and Mobile). Establishining strong working relationships with distribution channels for SME products roll out. Responsible for defining both long-range and short term strategic plans and tactics to drive revenue exponential SME growth. 

    Your responsibilities will include

    • Primary ownership of SME segment, product strategy and distribution across all digital channels. Strong working relationship with indirect distribution channel for SME product roll out.
    • Identify, implement and manage appropriate SME product stacks to drive revenue growth and market penetration. Develop KPIs and analytics to support pricing and P&L growth
    • Refine SME product portfolio strategy based on deep dive into desired market segments and maximized customer experience
    • Lead SME Customer Journey roadmap development, prioritization, KPIs and execution. Engage key partners in COPS, TES, IT, Commercial and CBU to ensure alignment in vision and implementation for all SME customers.
    • Drive/Lead all “digital plus human” customer journey work for SME clients developing and coordinating digital initiatives, fostering close communication with the digital team, technology and COPS.
    • Drive the development, implementation and maintenance of an innovative and modern SME digital platform that supports sales and marketing teams on promotions, product launches, special offers, customer acquisition, retention, conversion, and overall content.
    • Performing through People: Supports and enables the team to succeed through contextual use of appropriate leadership styles.
       

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • B Degree/Equivalent required 
    • Postgraduate qualifications/MBA advantageous 
    • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a B2B sales environment. 
    • Relevant experience in delivering digital/e-commerce related projects (B2C, B2B or B2B2C)
    • At least 2 years of Go To Market experience.
    • Product and business development experience required.

    Specialist: Service Delivery

    Role Purpose
    The Specialist FM Service delivery role based within Technology.

    Role purpose: 

    • Escalations, problem management, measurement and reporting, Monitoring and on-duty shift support services. OPCO Support, SLA Management, OLA Management, WAR ROOM Co-ordination, Relationship Management  

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • To liaise with internal and external support teams toward fault resolution in order to meet SLAs & OLAs 
    • Supervise and provide support to the T1 teams, Support other areas of the business and Opco’s. 
    • To monitor and measure quality of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management processes. (Continually evaluate and improve existing FM processes and systems) 
    • To notify and escalate major incidents as per the fault handling and escalations procedures. (ensure  all escalations procedures are adhered to)
    • To compile incident reports, routine and ad hoc management reports and reconcile incidents with business partners 
    • To co-ordinate the WAR room and resolution of network failures
    • Be able to deliver AdHoc tasks or project with minimal supervision until completion (e.g. implementation dashboards required in FM, Tools improvements etc.)

    Scrum Master / Project Manager

    Description

    • The Scrum Master is a member of the squad who coaches the squad on Agile principles and practices as well as teaching, facilitating, coaching, mentoring and consulting on Agile techniques and ceremonies. The Scrum Master helps to maximise squad productivity? to a sustainable and predictable velocity. The Scrum Master will also help embed continuous learning with the aim to lead the squad members to self-sufficiency. The Scrum Master is a servant-leader for the scrum team. They help those outside the scrum team understand Agile ways of working and which of their interactions with the Scrum Team are helpful and which are less, facilitating everyone to improve these interactions to maximize the value created by the scrum team. Typically reports to the Chapter Lead.

    Job Responsibility

    •  Support the Product Owners and other scrum masters in ensuring right-sized story writing, aligning priorities, and planning sprint iterations
    •  Coach team members on Agile methods and technical practices (e.g., CI/CD, TDD, etc.)
    •  Track and manage risks and issues of the delivery team
    •  Track and report on current status of all team members and the delivery
    •  Facilitating key agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
    •  Monitor and optimize agile processes and practices
    •  Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and team learning

    Must have technical / professional qualifications:

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or  other related field
    •  A total of at least five to eight years relevant experience of which at least three years needs to be as a Scrum Master or Product Owner with agile teams
    •  Experience in designing and delivering complex digital capabilities
    •  Experience leading teams using agile methodologies in large-scale teams
    •  Certified Agile coach, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFeCertified Scrum Master or similar
    •  Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD, and BDD
    •  Certifications in traditional Project Management practices, e.g., Prince 2, PMP preferred
