    Operations Manager (VMMC)

    Position available in KZN

    • Working with Provincial teams, oversee MMC service delivery by RTC in respective districts
    • Management and coordination of the MMC team activities and performance of the facilities/districts
    • Provide coaching and mentorship to the Provincial and District MMC Coordinators on programme performance
    • Ensure adequate supplies in time and on site for efficient operation flow through efficient stock control oversight for relevant districts
    • Liaise with SCM Partner to secure adequate supplies and timely delivery
    • Ensure timely procurement of buffer stock
    • Provide reporting to the Deputy Project Director on all MMC operational issues
    • Develop monthly plans and submit weekly and monthly reports on implementation progress
    • Verify data management and monthly reporting for DOH and CDC
    • Manage staff development and training; team building as well as providing mentoring where needed
    • Ensure that the cross‐cutting teams (HR, M&E, Specialists, Training etc) are informed of sub‐districts/facilities that require trainings and refreshers etc.

    Clinical Advisor- VMMC

    Description

    • Initiating and facilitating clinical support for   MMC Sites, staff training, maintaining quality VMMC services, ensuring patient safety, and responding, managing, and monitoring MMC-related adverse events. 
    • Support and supervise the provision of high-quality MMC services in accordance with recent SAG/WHO/UNAIDS guidelines
    • Help draft and implement MMC site protocols for all RTC-managed MMC sites
    • Draft and implement site strategic plans in line with the DIPs, PSP, and NSP
    • Work with the MMC Senior Technical Advisor and demand creation team  to develop and implement demand creation activities
    • Identify training needs among the staff and coordinate the provision of the training with training partners
    • Orientation of MMC staff around the National Strategic Plan, National Clinical guidelines, PEPFAR/WHO Guidelines, and practice both in South Africa and at the provincial level
    • Provide continuous mentorship and in-service training to staff in the provision of quality VMMC services
    • Orientation and induction of new employees
    • Coordination support and the provision of the continuum of care in the region
    • Ensure all sites have an internal QA team that can conduct internal QA assessments and respond to feedback from RTC-led or externally led QA assessment

    Requirements

    Required Minimum Education   : 

    • MBCHB Degree from an internationally accredited university
    • Registration with HPCSA 
    • Valid VMMC provider's training certificate                                                                                                                                 

    Desirable Education 

    • HIV Management Diploma
    • Master of Public Health

    Required Minimum Experience :

    • 3 years experience in Public Health and Management experience after community service preferred

    Administrator (Contract Management Systems)

    Right To Care is looking for Administrator (Contract Management Systems) which will be based at Centurion, to provide effective contract management system (CMS) support services to the Legal Department. 

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Keeping CMS up to date with new changes

    Programme Coordinator

    • Serve as first point of contact to Districts VMMC sites for logistics, supply, transport, demand and other relevant challenges.
    • Coordinate locums and transport for all MMC MOVE and demand Creation teams.
    • Ensure the availability and consistence supply of consumables and VMMC Kits to all supported teams.
    • Support and coordinate all TMI activities in the supported districts. 
    • Provide support to sites to ensure internal QA teams are established and regular assessments take place.
    • Work with sites to ensure timely and adequate responses to QA assessments
    • Participate in internal and external quality assurance assessments and assist the sites with quality improvement activities in response to QA results

    Demand Creation Officer - Eastern Cape

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Introduce the VMMC programme to communities and conduct profiling by means of various sources.
    • Based on the results obtained from community profiling, allocate Social Mobilisers to various supported areas by means of GIS Mapping in order to ensure proper coverage of target/pivot populations.
    • Coordinate and supervise demand creation activities performed by Social Mobilisers within various Right to Care-supported areas.
    • Schedule demand creation activities (i.e. information sessions, talks, events, etc.). aimed at promoting VMMC in designated areas (i.e. door-to-door visits, events at taxi ranks, youth clubs, malls, etc.).
    • Create appropriate demand creation training plans based on training needs analyses.
    • Engage with clinical roving teams to create accurate and proper service delivery schedules.
    • Draft and submit weekly reports that outline activities completed and the number of leads.
    • Schedule and maintain a monthly calendar of VMMC outreach activities.
    • Submit weekly and monthly reports of the social mobilisers’ performance to the Demand Creation Coordinator.
    • Actively engage with community leaders and structures in communities surrounding VMMC facilities to promote VMMC services and to identify demand creation opportunities.
    • Actively seek out opportunities for Social Mobilisers to participate in events and collaborate with organisations, government and/or schools for VMMC service delivery.
    • Collaborate with local stakeholders (Community Based Organisations and other partners) to ensure proper coordination of social mobilisation campaigns..
    • Mentor Social Mobilisers by addressing their challenges and barriers that prohibit them from reaching their targets

    Conduct weekly performance reviews of targets reached by Social Mobilisers.

    Requirements

    • Matric (Grade 12) and a certificate in Marketing and Communications
    • A valid South African driver’s license endorsed with a  PrDP(Professional Driving Permit) is compulsory
    • Two years experience in organising and overseeing health promotion events, activities and projects at a community level cultural specific context
    • Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and local vernaculars

    • Responsible for planning, coordination and implementation of training of the VMMC program including providing oversight to Right to Care's training implementing partner. 

    Requirements
