    Talent Acquisition Specialist (Cape Town)

    About the role

    • We are on the lookout for a Specialist Recruiter to join our Group Services People Team. In this role you will be responsible for driving an exceptional candidate experience during our hiring process. You will be working closely with the Talent Manager and key stakeholders to source the best talent for our Smollan teams, in areas such as Finance, People, E-commerce, Marketing etc. We are looking for an individual that has experience sourcing talent for specialist roles/business capabilities and technical roles (corporate or agency). In this role you will need to have a deep understanding of various sourcing strategies for talent and talent marketplaces.

    Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

    Driving an exceptional candiate experiance throughout the hiring process

    • Attend/conduct interviews or competency based interviews as per business requirements
    • Standardise reference checking procedure and interview process flow for the business
    • Draw up and maintain standard reference guides for the business
    • Draw up and maintain guidelines for HR/Line Managers on reference checking
    • Draw up and maintain interview process flow and interview guides for job titles in the business
    • Identify ways to improve current e-recruitment solution
    • Create and maintain an automated recruitment pool of candidates
