    Higher Education Consultant (HEC) - Potchefstroom

    Description:
    We are looking to recruit Higher Education Consultants to convert sales leads to enrollment through educational consulting and providing an exceptional customer experience. The role will report to the Sales Manager.

    Minimum qualification:

    • Relevant undergraduate degree such as commerce, education, social sciences or marketing

    Experience:

    • At least two years’ sales experience with a proven track record
    • Higher education experience will be advantageous
    • 2-year teaching exposure will be advantageous
    • At least 2 years account management/ customer relationship experience

    Other requirements:

    • Must be able to travel locally.
    • Valid driver’s license and own transport is essential.

    Functional and technical competencies:

    • Product knowledge (to be acquired after appointment)
    • Well-developed MS office skills (Excel essential)

    Information Systems MLM Lecturer

    The Position:
    Working in the IS (MLM) learning environment, the IS Lecturer will be responsible for a group of students assigned to the incumbent. The successful candidate will work daily with each student on a one-on-one basis, mentoring them throughout the year primarily in our computer lab. The candidate will coach academic progress and time management to each student and will be responsible for building and sustaining relationships with the students.
    The IS Lecturer will be their students’ 1st go to person with all things academic and the candidate therefore needs to ensure optimum growth in their students’ academic path. Ensuring student experience is optimised in line with Eduvos quality standards values and efficacy goals. Ensure that the student is at the heart of everything we are responsible for in our function of academics.

    Minimum qualification:

    • BSc IT or related degree
    • Higher Certificate in Information Systems (Engineering), (Software Development) (previously Graduated)
    • Council of Ethical Hackers Certification advantageous

    Experience:

    • Recent graduate from Bachelor of Science in Information Technology/Computer Science or MLM.
    • Student focus: Demonstrates proven ability to be timely, compelling, clear and concise in all communications. Puts the student at the heart of all communications & interactions.
    • Style: Demonstrates a professional approach to mentoring students & sponsors
    • Demonstrates sound knowledge & understanding of the key fundamentals of the IS industry and is seen as a leader in this area.

    • Working knowledge pertaining to Information Systems, Microsoft SQL, C# Programming, Java Programming, Relational Modelling, HTML, JavaScript, Processing and Logic Concepts, and Python Programming.
    • Utilizes effective tools, technology, media & digital enablement to communicate with students on an individual basis.

    • Academic Responsibility: The tutor is responsible for all academic aspects of his/her students.
    • Progress Management: Mentoring students with progress management on a daily basis is an important responsibility in this role.
    • Planning & forecasting to ensure that students meet targets.

    • Weekly meetings with each student.
    • Upskilling.
    • Workshops to assist students with learning.
    • Feedback: prompt and detailed feedback for each project, exercise, pre-exam tests & exam to be given to the student.

    Academic Administrator

    The Position:

    To support all the academic administration functions (including assessment administration, recordkeeping of student data, enrolment functions, etc.) at our Claremont campus.

    Minimum qualification:

    • Diploma or Bachelors Degree

    Experience:

    • At least one years’ administrative experience, preferably in Assessment Administration, in the higher education environment

    Responsibilities:

    As the Academic Administrator, you will be primarily responsible for the following:
