    Executive Head: VodaPay IT - Midrand

    Role purpose:

    The role of the Executive Head: Vodapay IT - to build, operate and maintain Vodacom Financial Services’ Superapp and payments wallet platform and technical engineering team. It also involves business and partner engagement to ensure the requisite alignment is achieved to deliver on a platform that meets our customers’ requirements.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Accountable for the build and management of the Vodapay Superapp and Wallet platform 
    • Ensure the availability and performance of relevant Vodapay platforms
    • Manage the Product life cycle of respective product platforms and accountable for the design and delivery of features and platforms in scope 
    • Establish strong collaboration and alignment with the relevant Vodacom/Vodafone IT Teams
    • Build a strong and capable team aligned to best practice engineering practices and culture with a focus on CI/CD, cloud engineering capabilities

    Leadership:

    • Lead, motivate and develop Project and IT teams, ensuring they have clarity of direction and support in prioritising demands.
    • Coach, develop and performance manage people and identify key talent.
    • Embody and embed the Vodacom Spirit behaviours.
    • Create a positive environment of change readiness and excellence. 
    • Work across the Vodafone, VFS & Vodacom Group to deliver best practice locally. 
    • A deep curiosity about emergent IT and Infrastructure trends.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • An advanced Telecommunications or Information Technology or similar degree is essential 
    • Minimum 10 years experience working in IT (preferable Financial services) and within Operations & Development 
    • Minimum 5 years of management and leadership experience

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    • Minimum 10 years relevant experience with 5 years management/supervisory experience is essential
    • Payments and mobile wallet experience is an advantage
    • Substantial technological background, gained in global, multi-cultural organisations with proven track record with deployment and management of complex platforms and IT implementation
    • Substantial knowledge of business processes and their integration
    • Distinct analytical and systematic thinking 
    • Ability to communicate complex technical dependencies comprehensively on Executive Management Level with strong leadership and communication skills
    • Experience with deployments and infrastructure into the Public Cloud
    • Strong understanding of the technical aspects  as well as the overarching strategic business decisions that need to be made for IT services

    HR Business Partner - MAST

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    Works closely with the Executive Head in partnership with the MAST’s leadership to closely manage and grow the MAST business by providing strategic and hands-on HR support & delivery. This includes driving the delivery of the transformational people agenda and bringing to life the MAST People Strategy. In addition, also responsible for creating an enabling environment to drive a high performing entrepreneurial culture and employee engagement across the organization

    Your responsibilities will include:

    HR Strategic Partnering 

    • Responsible for executing on the MAST people strategy.
    • Together with Executive develop key portfolio strategies and frameworks (L&D, etc)
    • Work closely with senior leaders to drive and deliver their people plan that supports the business growth.
    • Partner with business to ensure the optimum org design is in place to deliver a fit for future business.
    • Drive organizational performance aligned to MAST’s PM framework and competencies. 

    Organisation Effectiveness & Change 

    • Support and deliver functional change programmes and organisational effectiveness or OD activities in the business areas.
    • Interface with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with cross-functional change activity.
    • Deliver against FTE, contractor & employment Opex targets in business areas and support business in managing the payroll budget and headcount.
    • Act as tactical sparring partner, engaging on the effectiveness of processes, systems, data and people. 
    • Drive the MAST People plan within each BU, ensuring that all people managers are equipped and able to deliver against agreed plans.
    • Propose, develop and deliver key functional change programmes.

    Cultural Change 

    • Act as a catalyst for change by helping the organization as they transform.
    • Seen as a trusted and respected change agent who can influence, persuade & support the business. 

    People Planning 

    • Input to functional people plan that is fully aligned to the MAST strategy & operating model.
    • Drive delivery of functional initiatives/projects to support the MAST strategy.
    • Talent Management and Reward 
    • Continuously drive performance dialogue awareness in partnership with business
    • Work in partnership with senior leaders on future fit resourcing plan

    Support senior leaders on the Talent Management scope:

    • Talent Acquisition
    • Talent Development
    • Talent Retention and Engagement 
    • Execute on the organization’s Reward framework and principals.

    Organisational Capability  

    • Input in MAST functional and leadership development framework 
    • Work with senior leaders to build critical functional & leadership capabilities to enable the business areas to deliver against their plans.

    Employee Engagement & Experience 

    • Partner with leadership to ensure teams have a clear understanding of the relationship between their business function, team and individual goals and their role in contributing towards delivery of the overall strategy.
    • Focus the business areas on continuously improving employee engagement & by facilitating the development of People Survey action plan etc. 

    Relationship Management & Partnering 

    • Build a high ‘support & challenge’ relationship with the senior leadership teams.
    • Implement all ‘Performance Driven Reward’ plans in business areas and ensure recognition of staff.

    The Ideal candidate for this role will have:

    Must have technical/professional qualifications: 

    • Matric / Grade 12 essential 
    • 3year degree/diploma (e.g., Industrial Psychology, BCOM/BA – Honour in HRM, Business Management, etc.) is essential 
    • A post-graduate qualification is required. 
    • 5-8 + years' applicable experience as a Human Resources generalist across all areas of the HR spectrum, as well as proven experience is essential.
    • 3 years’ experience as an HR professional interfacing with senior leadership in a corporate environment 
    • Startup experience will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge and related experience in change management, transformation & people organization plans is essential
    • Affiliation with HR professional bodies SABPP, HSPCA is an advantage

    Commercial Coordinator

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    To provide administrative support to Commercial Department by tracking applications from tenants, processing of approvals and associated lease agreements and capture leases on billing tool. Process renewals and track with tenants to ensure renewal prior to expiry. Assisting in all administrative related duties.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Track tenant applications on MAST Site Share portal and ensure completion with relevant stakeholders within agreed SLA.
    • Calculate monthly rental per approved application, issue leases and ensure conclusion between tenant and MAST, based on MAST Delegation of Authority, in relevant tools, eg. Site Share portal and Docusign.
    • Process duly signed leases on relevant tools, eg. SharePoint and SAP.
    • Interrogate tower audit reports received from MAST engineering department to identify undocumented installations and conclude relevant lease agreements.
    • To assist with all internal and external application and billing enquiries, and provide updated status reports

    The Ideal candiddate for this role will have:

    Must have technical/professional qualifications: 

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
    • Relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Facilities management, Property management, Project management, Finance management, Contract management (Essential)

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    • MS Office package 
    • SAP Real Estate (Desirable)
    • Policies and procedures
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in contract management administration (Essential)
    • 1 – 2 years financial experience (Desirable)
    • Very good people skills (Essential)
