    Lead Programme Coordinator (Head Office)

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Oversee logistics and operations of postgraduate and professional programmes within the Faculty of Applied Psychology.
    • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the Programme Coordinators in the faculty.
    • Oversee and coordinate professional development activities with the Programme Coordinators.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for programmes in the faculty.
    • Foster collaboration among Programme Coordinators, faculty members, and institutional departments.
    • Lead and support faculty-specific operational initiatives and process improvements.

    Programme Coordinator: Faculty of Social Work & Community Development_JHB Campus

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Coordinate the MSocSci and Bachelor of Social Work programmes, including student support, orientations, and workshops.
    • Liaise with students, educators, and community placement sites for effective supervision and support.
    • Facilitate programme-specific events, enrichment activities, and alumni engagement initiatives.
    • Participate in research and ethics committee activities, including reviewing research proposals.
    • Teach or supervise in relevant modules, ensuring high-quality academic delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with academic standards, quality assurance, and retention strategies.

    Educator (Online Campus)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Teach five modules per term, within the Social Work and Community Development faculty.
    • Manage a portfolio of modules within the Social Work and Community Development faculty, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for students.
    • Oversee part-time educators across campuses, who teach related modules within the faculty to maintain consistency in delivery and assessment.
    • Provide general academic support to online campus part-time educators.
    • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in curriculum design, assessment development, and educational content creation.
    • Actively contribute to SACAP’s Research and Ethics Committee, including reviewing Honours and Masters research proposals.
    • Engage in strategic collaboration with the Head of Campus and Teaching & Learning leadership team to foster an innovative and supportive academic environment.
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of campus culture amongst part-time educators.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Master’s degree in Social Work or related field.
    • Preferably registered with SACSSP.
    • At least 3 years of teaching experience in higher education, with a strong understanding of the South African educational landscape and advancements in artificial intelligence.
    • Proficiency in curriculum development, academic writing, and digital learning technologies.
