    Co-Ordinator (Job Evaluation) - eThekwini

    Job Purpose    

    • Co-ordination and administrative support of the Compensation Management Branch in the areas of Job Evaluation and Compensation related matters, through the facilitation of preparatory requirements, input to the development of procedures, reporting on status and maintenance of job evaluation and related matters. Updating of relevant databases and production of schedules to ensure job evaluation matters are resolved timeously.

    This post reports to PRINCIPAL GRADING AND REMUNERATION ADVISOR

    Key Responsibility Areas    

    • Provides committee and administrative support to the Job Evaluation Unit, Provincial Audit Committee, Branch Meetings and any other committee or meeting held by the Compensation Management Branch.
    • Undertake the evaluation of jobs.
    • Is responsible for all administration resulting from job evaluation and other compensation management related matters.
    • Undertakes preliminary research and investigations into job evaluation and compensation related matters with a view to providing guidance to line departments on such matters as directed by the supervisor e.g. progressions, grade queries, comparing of job descriptions.
    • Provision of committee and administrative support to the Provincial Audit Committee (PAC) of SALGA-KZN.

    Essential Requirements    

    • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in any of the following qualifications •Human Resource Management •Management Services •Operations Management Or other related and equivalent qualification.
    • Job Evaluation Certificate or be obtained within 6 months of engagement.
    • Valid motor vehicle driving license.
    • 3 Years relevant experience.

    Preferred Requirements    

    • Degree (NQF Level 7) in any of the following qualifications •Human Resource Management •Management Services •Operations Management. Or other related and equivalent qualification
    • Job Evaluation Certificate
    • 4 Years relevant experience.
